This is the best cook book I have ever owned. I’ve followed Jeremy online since his Cornell days and have been making his spicy vodka rigatoni for every family function. Every single recipe slaps and it’s no fuss no mess. 10/10/10/10/10

I’m about 2 years into my journey and have fallen in love with learning from cookbooks. I think this book is going to be perfect for where I’m at now. The author has a similar love for the science behind cooking and foods so I enjoyed reading the educational bits throughout! It also has been pretty easily digestible information for me so I’m very excited to see how these recipes turn out and to expand my own cooking repertoire.

solid cookbook. I bought this book to learn a bit more about the science of cooking and balancing tastes, and I get a bit of that in the intro. the rest of the book has pretty good looking recipes, with a few I'll try. Overall, a pretty approachable and balanced variety of a cookbook.

After watching his videos and making many of the recipes on TikTok I decided to grab his cookbook and I’m glad I did. Really enjoy his recipes along with the bits of information throughout the book. Photography is amazing as well!

2.5 stars, rounded up. The recipes are basic and you’ve probably seen them countless times before. Nothing earth shattering here. Some recipes look time consuming while others look okay-to-meh. The only real flash of inspiration is the Orzo Mac recipe.
