Nothing in this book makes sense .. somebody does CA and joins a bank as a RM for WM business .. how intelligent .. and what is the use of all those dirty jokes in this story .. no relevance at all .. unnecessary vulgur jokes .. and which educated decent person would look into women's bag ? And read their diary ? And conveniently Mridula gives customer related information to Kaushik, is that easy, is it? Most rediculous part was where Kaushik guesses Anushka's email password .. But on the positive side, learnt few interesting things like the luhn formula .. never knew something like that existed .. a lot of content was written from an educational point of view like for eg phishing .. so the book is not an entertaining one, but definitely an educational one ..
Author works for a private bank in Mumbai and this is his first fiction, inspired by Chetan Bhagat - observed very similar style of writing. A simple and interesting book with funny punches. Every chapter starts with a Global Proverb. Example - "Facts are male...Words are Female" - Italian Proverb, another one - "Where the Devil can't go…he will send a Woman" - Polish Proverb. An average read, nothing great about it.
Spoiler alert: This is a terrible book. The fact that he started off writing after he read Chetan Bhagat is disappointing to begin with, and the book just consolidates my stand. Poor plot, characters you can't relate to, plot that doesn't engage, and eventually a book that you must buy if you want someone to get into reading Bhagat, this is disappointment every way.
