I almost rated this 3 stars b/c I don't think I was in the right headspace to read this. But I realized the information was succinct and the book wasn't bogged down with flowery descriptions and unnecessary fluff which I appreciated.

I docked a star b/c I didn't really like that there is mention at the beginning of the book that God can be whoever your higher power is and lists other examples and mentions God as being a He, She, or no gender.

But then the whole book is framed under God, His kingdom, the Father. I understand this is b/c these are the frames of reference the authors have, that their religious background leans toward these descriptors, but it made the book feel overly religious in a systemic way and less of a spiritual way that could really just be my own mindset and not actually an issue with the book. But either way, that's why I docked one star.

Otherwise, a quick read, very clear and easy to understand. This book delivers exactly what it says it will. The authors don't promise enlightenment or hide anything extra that you would have to pay for their classes to find out, and I think that's admirable in itself.

If you are looking to move forward with a spiritual path and want to know about angels, guides, and connecting with either this book is a nice place to start.

For my fellow recovering Catholics, you may have to work out some of your feelings about the Catholic church before reading this, or you may also dock a star for no discernable reason.

i loveeeee this book ! I am so happy I found it (shout out to my local town hall library!!!) and get to read it. To me it is such a helpful book for people that want to connect with Angels. I am still practicing, and I found this book really helpful and easy to understand/follow. It is also really nice to read others' stories about how they connected with Angels/their learning process. I am just really really happy to be able to found and read this book as a new year just begun. This book is a breath of fresh air. I've been reading a lot about angels, channeling/mediumship, clairvoyance and the like - and the material can get pretty heady sometimes. Angelspeake takes all of the stuff I've been reading and makes it simple, accessible, and uplifting. It's easy to overcomplicate spiritual things - this book is a good reminder to pray, breathe, and listen. An easy, encouraging read. One of the better books I've read so far to come out of the 90s cultural trend of interest in angels.

An amazing book that is a must have for anyone that wants to be able to pull answers out of their knowing. Whether you call it angels, universe, spirit, self or something else, it does not matter. I highly recommend you read this book and follow the simple exercises. I first read this book in 2004 and I am still using the techniques I have learned. This is a terrific book to add to your collection and read again from time to time.

This is my second reading of Angelspeake and I enjoyed and learned from it all over again. Barbara Mark and her sister, Trudy Griswold learned to communicate with Angels primarily through written communication. They were advised by the Angels to conduct workshops to teach others how to "speak with their Angels".

If you are a spiritual being, this is the book for you. Simple concepts, easy to follow, and guaranteed to open your mind to new experiences. I recommend it highly.

The Angelspeake books are life-changing if you actually do the recommended exercises. Uplifting is this book with remarkable positive impact on your heart, mind and physical life. Although the title might sound as if from a particular set of religious beliefs, within the pages you will discover the universal, global, and personal application. I highly recommend reading this book, and all the Angelspeake books, at least once. Amazing!

This is good and I feel like the methods written in this book on how to talk to your angels and how to ask for your angels help are very simple and they work!! I have started writing with the angels and have some very interesting results. I feel i'm really talking to my angels!! its really wonderful. There are some things in the book I didn't agree with. For example the descriptions of what a guardian angel is.. wasn't very through and accurate. For example, in the book it just describes Guardian Angels as " always being with you" that's it. No mention about them being your protector and making you feel loved etc. They make sure you stay on course and on the path. There was no mention of this. Also in the book it says Archangel Uriel is the angel of prophecy. I'm an avid reader of everything angels and I have never read anywhere where it says he is the angel of prophecy? Archangel Haniel means "mercy of god" in the book.that isn't accurate. Haniel means "grace of god". Archangel Zadkiel is the angel of mercy. Also Clairsentience doesn't mean "clear knowing" it means "clear feeling" clear knowing is called claircognizance. In the book the angels words are italicized in very small letters so an older person who can't see print well would need to wear glasses to read this book. I think this book is GREAT.. but would suggest the publishers make a second, more improved edition of this book.
