Greek billionaire Leo Christakis is convinced the drab, shapeless suits worn by Natasha are simply a cover for the gold-digging harlot who lies beneath. Mistakenly thinking Natasha's been stealing from his company, Leo commands her to be at his beck and call-in and out of the bedroom. Natasha is thrown into his world of unimaginable luxury. Then Leo discovers she's innocent-in every sense! Now she has no choice-she must become the Christakis bride!
Hi, my name is Michelle Reid and I’ve been writing for Harlequin Mills & Boon for the last twenty years, and the crazy part about it is that I only realised it had been twenty years while updating this page!
So, hang on for a minute while I take this huge milestone in....
Twenty years with almost forty books published or in the pipeline ... I know it isn’t a great average when compared with some authors but it sounds pretty good to me!
So what was I doing twenty years ago before I wrote books? Well, I did the all of the usual things, like growing up and attending school, finishing at secretarial college, which I hated, then spent the next several years wandering aimlessly from job to job. Eventually I met my husband, we married and produced two daughters who then grew up and between them presented us with two gorgeous grandsons and one beautiful granddaughter. But I’m getting ahead of myself. Somewhere in between my girls growing up and the grandchildren arriving on the scene, I started writing. To this day I don’t know why, unless it was a natural progression from my never being without a book close by—often several—because books have always been an important part of my life for as far back as I can recall.
So, I started to write, by hand at first, scribbling short stories in notebooks which never saw the light of day. At some point I discovered Mills & Boon Romance books and that was pretty much it for me. I’d found my new love, as in reading romantic fiction and inevitably writing it too.
So twenty years on and almost forty books on, here I am still writing and still loving it!
This book didn't work for me at all. Heroine Natasha was dull. The storyline was silly. The book really got boring after hero Leo takes Natasha to Greece...with endless sex scenes between a couple I could care less about. A disappointing read.
Aw, this was cute and the hero was clearly crazy about the "buttoned-up" heroine who was engaged to his stepbrother until the H/h both found him having sex with the heroine's sister on his desk at work. Add in a theft, a publicity hungry pop starlet, and a couple of kidnappings by the hero and you have a plot that moves along nicely.
The poor virgin heroine didn't eat for a whole day, but she did manage to have transcendent first-time sex with the hero. She was so confused about her own behavior that she barely noticed how insane the hero's world was. He had a thieving stepbrother, a clinging ex-wife with mental health problems, and a company to run. No wonder he turned to the heroine who was just as honest and blunt as he was.
I think that's what sold me on this crazy story - they were both so blunt with each other. The lines of communication will always be open - and if they can keep the drawbridge pulled up against their selfish family members, the better off they will be. I'm glad the stepbrother got his comeuppance. Hopefully the pop starlet sister will get hers later on.
This was such a fun book. It had some elements that could have made it fairly angsty, but it was handled in such a way that I was able to sit back and enjoy the Harlequin Presents-style drama.
Natasha is the prim, buttoned up type. She hides her lush curves and good blond and blue-eyed looks behind proper suits and tied-up hair, but Leo has had his eye on her for a while. Too bad she's engaged to his step-brother. But Leo gets his chance with Natasha when they catch Rico in a compromising position in his office--with none other than Natasha's sister. Leo is there to pick up the pieces of Natasha's bruised heart (or at least her ego). Rico was never good enough for her, but she was flattered that he wanted her, and not her younger, slimmer, and more flashy pop star sister. But apparently, Rico only wanted her for the fact that his mother liked her.
Leo has been cleaning up messes after his step-brother for far too long, out of loyalty to his step-mother, whom his deceased father loved very much. But the straw that breaks the camel's back is when Rico steals money from the business, and then cheats on his fiancee with her sister.
Leo is trying to be noble when it comes to Natasha, but he steals a kiss, or a few. And he wants more. When he finds out that she colluded with his brother to steal his money, all bets are off. She can't get access to the money for six weeks, so she'll spend those six weeks as his mistress, so he can work her out of his system. He couldn't believe he fell for her Miss Prim act, when she was more like his traitorous ex-wife all the time. But it turns out that what he saw with Natasha is what he got. When he takes her virginity, Leo is honor bound to offer marriage (yeah, that was the only reason!). But, Natasha isn't about to trust her heart to a man who doesn't even trust or like her.
There is a battle of wits and passions between this couple that I found highly enjoyable. It was such a refresher. Something about this kind of Harlequin Presents drama that keeps me entertained and takes me out of the mundane world. Yes, Natasha has some emotional ups and downs, but her insecurities felt realistic to her, considering that she was adopted by her parents when they thought they couldn't have kids, and then shuffled to the background when their miracle natural daughter came five years later. Since then, she's watched out for her sister, and kept her out scrapes, managing her pop singing career, and getting no thanks for it. So, it made sense that she doubted Leo's feelings for her.
Michelle Reid is a great writer. She pours passion and emotion into her books, that keeps my eyes glued to the page. This one was a little lighter for her, but not lacking in substance for me. It was a quick, diverting read that I loved. For me, definitely a five star read.
I re-read this on a rainy Sunday morning. My rating still stands at a very strong four stars....and I enjoyed this just as much the second time around. But I did have a slightly different twist. The difference this time is I came to appreciate Leo's character so much more. I felt I badly misjudged him the first go around, so I felt compelled to add these thoughts.
Leo was one cool character. He finds an opening to swoop in and get his woman and he takes it. No holds barred. Even if it means pretending to believe she is a thief. We don't get his confession until the end, but we know deep down that he doesn't believe for one minute that she stole his money. It was fun to watch all his ruthless manipulations/machinations which would be in character with a self-made billionaire. Let's face it, they don't get there by being choir boys. I liked how he didn't mince words and went right for the jugular every time. I liked that he couldn't control his sexual appetite, yet I never doubted how much he loved the heroine.
The sexual tension and electrical chemistry between H/h just screamed from the pages. I had to fan myself.
A definite read for all MR Fans. If you missed this one, I highly recommend. Caution: Beware of the steam!
I think this is one of Michelle Reid's better books.. Though "Price of a Bride" still remains my all-time favorite book, this is a close second. The chemistry was hot and you could feel their LUST for one another. I particularly loved the way the author set up their special dinner date and the intimacy she was able to evoke. This was such an incredibly intense moment in the book...Also, the love scenes were some of the best ever written.
What I didn't like, I felt there were areas that could have been explored to put more depth into the plot.
I also felt that Leos controlling and ruthless attitude went on just a tad too long. I think the author missed a golden opportunity to make Leo into a knight in shining armor...and I felt a little cheated by that. Instead the author played the controlling, ruthless card until the very end when we get the big reveal.. Everything he did was motivated solely by his intense need to have her stay close to him. He definitely subscribed to the "I want her" mantra....at all cost! So I walked away skeptical about the HE. Was this all about lust or love?
Let me get couple of things straight: 1. He offers marriage only after he discovered she was a virgin. 2. He treats her like a whore throughout the whole book. 3. He “thinks” she’s cheated on him when he’s almost sure she may have evidences which may point to his supposed infidelity, but instead of asking for an explanation he actually rapes her. DO NOT sugarcoat it, DO NOT call it forced seduction. That was pure and simple rape and he needed to grovel on his knees on broken glass simply for that and heroine should still have left him. 4. The rape was never mentioned and never apologised for. The author showed he was apparently ashamed of his actions! Well boo, no he wasn’t, because there was no fucking remorse. And no apologies, nothing! 5. ONLY after finding proof of heroine’s faithfulness did he chase her, before that, he actually let her go. It is extremely easy to discount someone’s fault and trust someone when you know the truth. That is NOT love. Love would have been if he never saw the envelope and requested for an explanation after chasing the heroine nonetheless. So someone please draw an arrow and point at the love for me please? My glasses are failing to do their jobs here because I fail to see any love except for an unhealthy obsession with female virginity. So no, I like alphas, I tolerate a-holes to a degree. But a rapist cynical untrusting bastard, no, I draw the line here. Also where the FUCK is the grovelling?

The lead female character, Natasha, was a true doormat for 99% of the story. She allowed her sister, her ex-fiancé, her parents, her husband, his ex- wife, and total strangers to walk all over her. Leo aka the lead male character had a big mouth threatening everyone but he himself was as bad. He threatened Cindy, Natasha's sister by saying if he talks to anyone blah blah blah...Well, Cindy not only talked to every trash media she could get a hold of but she continued to interfere in their lives. What did the powerful Leo do, nada. He threatened his Ex- wife with blah blah blah, well, she not only physically assaulted Natasha but set him up and almost succeeded in destroying his marriage. What did the oh most powerful Greek tycoon do, he said he is done with her but we all know that's all talk again. I mean the man found her in bed with other men, how many times in his marriage before he divorced her, but still ten years later, she was very much part of his life. The only person he was ruthless with was the doormat Natasha but that's because she was a virgin turning into a nymph and her hormones were ruling instead of her brain.
I love this old plot and thought this one was done especially well.
***Spoilers***
Natasha is engaged to the H's step-brother, who is a gold digging, cheating piece of work. Both she and the H walk in on the stepbrother having sex with the h's sister in his office. The H, Leo, is already angry with his step-brother because he embezzled money which it turns out he put in the h's name.
In the grand tradition of the Greek Tycoon HP Hero, he decides the h owes him for "her part" in his step-brother's treachery by being his mistress for 6 weeks. He wisks her off to Greece and takes her virginity, at which time he begins to believe he's mistaken about her guilt and decides to marry her.
1 ⭐️ for my love for MR’s books. Nothing more at all.
The h was a tramp-y, screaming, shrieking AND nauseated woman. It was absolute torture to read through for her happy ending or to wish her well.
Leo is a wealthy alpha Greek coming face to face with a deep cut in his pockets thanks to his scheming step brother. When he goes to confront him, the step brother is conveniently having sex with a blonde. Leo thanks that’s the step brother’s blonde fiancé but it’s even better: the fiancé’s sister!
Both the H and h stand witness to this and then escape together from the humiliating scene of crime. Sorry for the insensitive insight but the h is so disgusted by all this that she’s throwing up on the pavement. And then by her own shoes and the H has to side step her barf to shove her into his car. She’s holding a barf bag and off they go.
The H then hands her some whisky to (maybe) rinse her mouth and then they’re deep soul kissing. Ummm ok I’ll slight that aside. But this keeps repeating itself. This disgusting woman keeps running to throw up and the H keeps tasting her five seconds later.
A grown woman cannot possibly barf as a reaction to being played on. And MR should’ve mentioned enough times that the h went to freshen herself up or rinsed her mouth or anything but she doesn’t!
Leo was a gentleman but Natasha, the h was vile. I reread some of the pages but could not get why she was screaming bloody murder to Leo. He was being nice to her, wasn’t slut shaming her, wasn’t pretty much saying anything at all. And yet Natasha first bitch slaps him, then throws a glass of whiskey on his face, while he stood there receiving all of this from her for a reason beyond me.
I absolutely hated Natasha. I believe she was a living, breathing version of a woman’s character traits that are a pet peeve of mine. Nothing worked for her at all! Their happy ending while it came wasn’t well deserving. Not sure why Leo was lusting after Natasha to begin with! Don’t think such a temperamental blonde who’s prone to vomiting and running away and handing out profanities can last long with an old fashioned alpha Greek.
As always with Michelle Reid I think her writing keeps dragging on, and on and on. Her internal monologues and descriptions are endless and the dialogue minimal which is why I avoid her books.
Still 3 stars because I liked the characters. Leo was definitely the most interesting character in the book and he was sexy and alpha and just gorgeous. Natasha was also a likable heroine. The chemistry was there but once again the writing style prevented me from enjoying it even more.
"The Greek's Forced Bride" is the story of Natasha and Leo.
Let's recap this mess, shall we.
Our heroine is the most pathetic and unlucky lady in the HQN universe. -Her foster parents dont give a shit about her -Her fiance embezzled money and blamed the whole shit on her -He also cheated on her with her younger sister -His step brother decides to take revenge by making her sleep with him -Even after discovering the hymen, the hero is not ready to let go of her -His ex wife keeps taunting her -He is holding her prisoner -Even after multiple breakdowns and attempts to escape, he doesn't give in. Instead, his solution to everything is just seducing the heroine.
Stupidly innocent heroine, vengeful hero, crappy secondary characters, face-palm worthy drama and some sort of delusional HEA. I genuinely felt bad for the heroine because everyone treated her like garbage, and she took it!!
Lovely story. But then Michelle Reid is a favorite of mine. This was one of those books where you knew that the guy was pretty head over heels for her from the beginning. The heat between the hero and heroine was pretty high. Every once in a while some of the arguments between them didn't make the best sense mostly from the hero's point of view. To the point that you wondered why the devil did he even say that? That wasn't suave, in fact it was pretty much guaranteed to piss the heroine off. To the point where it felt like it was not really trued to the hero's character and they were just added by the author because she wanted them to fight. Those instances kept the book from attaining the 5 star. The ending was lovely with the hero desperate to convince her to stay with him.
I loved this book! I’m obsessed with super alpha, jealous, possessive heroes and Leo was fantastic! You could easily tell that he had deep feelings for Natasha, the heroine, right from the beginning of the book. I liked Natasha as a heroine too. She did not stick out to me as a memorable heroine in either a good or bad way. Leo is what made this book for me.
Why not 5 Stars? Michelle Reid has a habit of letting her heroines get unjustly crucified in the media for things they did not do or had no control over and I don’t like that MR does this trope. Her heroines already go through a lot of hurt and the added angst of being trashed in the media just bothers me. Also, what happened to Natasha’s sister and her ex-fiancé? I wish justice was served with their wrongdoings but this is never shown in the book or even hinted at. Also, I disliked Natasha’s parents.....talk about cold, unfeeling people. My biggest gripe though is Leo’s ex-wife. At the end of the book he still doesn’t tell Natasha the full-story about his ex-wife (he says it’s not his story to tell) and I didn’t like that he was still keeping secrets from Natasha, his wife. I would have also liked to have known why his ex-wife was as crazy as she was. I wish MR did epilogues as I would have enjoyed to see a glimpse of this couple’s future but everyone knows MR is not known to provide those in her books.
Overall an entertaining read with angst, hot sex scenes and of a super alpha, possessive, jealous hero!
For 2009, this was really a lot of fun. It was so dramatically soapy. 😍😍😍😍
⚛️ scandalous cheating scene (fiancé is banging her SISTER?!) 😱
⚛️ evil selfish little sister 😈
⚛️ ex fiancé’s fabulously wealthy and devastatingly handsome brother accuses her of stealing and blackmails her into his bed 😱😈 *GASP*
⚛️ Hero feels honor-bound to marry the h since he discovers her innocence The Old Fashioned Way. 😈😏 He demands they get married At Once! In 2009. 👀🤷🏼♀️🤡
⚛️ Blackmailing asshole Hero’s evil ex wife makes a dramatic entrance while the MC’s are naked and basically mid-thrust. (Not gonna lie, this scene made me perk the hell up and really get on board with this book. 😅 It’s so ridiculously dramatic and perfect. 🤡)
⚛️ loads more interference from the ex’s and the stupid sister - up to and including convincing the h that H cheated with his ex
⚛️ Hero discovers the h is a Sweet Baby Angel as she’s trying desperately to get away from him at the airport 😍
⚛️ Hero kidnaps her AGAIN and takes her to his private island where we get The Grovel 🥰
⚛️ several Forced Seduction and Angry Sex scenes are sprinkled throughout this train wreck, for good measure. 🤡
This really was way more fun than I expected…. UNTIL…
During The Grovel the H tries to explain the cheating allegations and it all goes to hell. His explanation where he tries to make her feel sorry the evil bitch who everyone has been hating the whole book… that’s not my idea of a good time. I don’t want to hear how he’ll always have feelings for her (not the love like he has with the h, but STILL..🤨)… what it sounded like to me is the h could expect that woman to be a permanent fixture in their lives, because the H will always feel a sense of responsibility for her. Cry me an effing river. 😐 😒
ALSO… during this dumpster fire of a grovel, he tells her that while he hasn’t slept with anyone else since the day they found his brother and her sister in a naked clench, it isn’t any of her business what happened in his sex life before her… 👀 … so maybe he slept with the ex after their divorce and maybe he didn’t… 👀 🤷🏼♀️ Not Her Business. 👀
So, yeah. That “grovel” had me like…
Bottom Line? I was ready to give this at least 4 stars until the grovel from hell. 🤷🏼♀️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 1/2
⚠️SAFETY SQUAD SPOILERS⚠️
- no cheating or sharing

What a crazy story! I’ve reread this countless times and still remain as on of my all time favorite. I love love the arrogant, cynical, jealous as hell Greek hero Leo christakis. From the first moment he met his brother’s fiancé he was jealous as hell and behaved like a trapped bear. He was very attracted to Miss cool, prime, buttoned up, beautiful Natasha Moyles. And once her engagement was broken all bets were off. I loved how their love story grew! It was sexy, crazy, passionate and possessive. Secondary characters has done a hell of a job. There was no epilogue much to my dismay. Recommended and safe!
I was very disappointed in this because the plot was rather promising. It's one of Harlequin's staple plots, but there was so much about the actual execution that went wrong. 1. The characters. Leo was just too wishy-washy to be an actual alpha-male. But he wasn't actually a sensitive or real guy either. So, he just fell flat in between and came across as being more like an immature teenage who picks on the girl that he has a crush on. At least his brother Rico stayed true to his character. The heroine, whose name I can't even remember (that's how memorable she is), was a REAL doormat. And reading Harlequins, I expect them to be doormats, but she was just way over the top. A nympho doormat. I think the author was trying to portray her as someone who was just dying for some small measure of affection, but she failed in doing so. Rather, the heroine came across also like a teenage who is discovering her hormones. If this weren't a Harlequin, I'd actually say that the heroine is more like one of those "naturally submissive" females that are depicted in BDSM books.
2. The side characters. The step-sister Cindy is a complete B**** and there is something seriously wrong with the parents. And having introduced such awful people, there should have been some sort of closure to them, but there wasn't. The "family" that made the heroine the doormat that she is, should have been the focus of some sort of "justice" enforced by Leo, but this never happened.
3. Plot development. This book really just goes to show that having a successful formula (i.e. girl catches her a-hole fiancee bonking her sister, gets "rescued" from her humiliation by her fiance's brother, then used and blackmailed for sex, to happily ever after) doesn't guarantee a good book. It's how you get from one ingredient to the other that will determine whether the end result is worth our money and time.
4. I am so tired of the "I-thought-you-were-a-gold-digger-that-I-could-treat-as-a-prostitute-until-I-realized-you-were-a-virgin" epiphany that makes the alpha hero actually use his brains and also simultaneously realize that he's been in love all along. It makes no sense whatsoever. Being a virgin doesn't mean that someone isn't a gold-digger. But whatever.
The heroine Natasha is devastated and humiliated when she walks into her fiancé's office and finds him and her sister having sex. Her humiliation is only made worse that her fiancé's stepbrother Leo, the hero, was also witness to the scene. Leo had just discovered that his selfish and irresponsible stepbrother has been stealing from his company. He had been on his way to confront him when he discovered the compromising situation. Leo offers comfort to Natasha even though she has always made it look like she doesn't like him. Plus he has always been attracted to her. However just as they begin to get close, Leo discovers that Natasha is involved in the theft from his company. He tells her that he wants her with him, as his mistress, until the stolen money can be accessed or she will face the authorities. Natasha has nothing left, her engagement is off and her sister and parents have turned their back on her, so she agrees to go with Leo. When Leo takes her to Greece with him, his desire for her soon overtakes his need for revenge. But when he realises that Natasha is a virgin he soon finds that he wants more from her.
I really enjoyed this book. As usual from Michelle Reid, the story is very emotional with the perfect blend of angst and lightness. I really liked the character of Natasha; she is written with honesty and never acts like the martyr of feels sorry for herself. Leo is a brilliant Alpha-hero and really made this story. Both characters 'grow' as the story progresses, which is very satisfying to read. The writing is beautiful, this has a great story and sizzling chemistry.
I can't believe how much I loved it. Notwithstanding the ridiculous virginity worship (how real is love if H only feels it because h was a virgin?), the horrible things H said to her, and mostly, the truly vicious things he said to his poor, unstable ex-wife. Hero was full-on verbally abusive. But the read was great, full of angst and passion.
Greek billionaire Leo Christakis is furious to find out someone is stealing from him, and as the dominoes begin to fall it becomes glaringly obvious that one of the players is Natasha. Underneath her ill mannered suits and reserved demeanor, Leo believes is a clever gold digger who will do whatever she can to get what she wants.
When Leo hurls the accusations at Natasha, she is dumbfounded. Not only did she just find her fiancee, well ex-fiancee, with another woman, she now is an accomplice to stealing from Leo and he wants it back. As Leo bluntly demands that she become his mistress until the matter is settled, Natasha sees no other options in sight.
Even with Natasha in close proximity to him, Leo is still baffled by the woman. At times her innocence has him questioning if he was right about her, until they spend their first night together and he realizes she is a virgin. Only one way to rectify his sins, marry her and make her his forever. But Natasha is tired of bieng bullied by Leo and has a few things to say about it, Leo ever determined plans to convince her that marriage is the only option the best way he can, through seduction of course.
Riveting. Leo is a bit obtuse and cruel at times, but he is redeemed when you get his perspective on what he is seeing. Having been hurt before he is not one to openly express his feelings often throwing barbs instead to help steel the facade he portrays to others. Would definitly read more by this author.
A wonderful fun read.......uncontrollable passion, a shy prim virgin, a hot sexy greek god, a spoiled brat sister, a jealous ex-wife, a lazy greedy step-brother, scandal, theft, & the press and you end up with one intense thrilling fun book. Could not put it down. What a great joy to read!
The heroine manages her foster sister’s pop career. She is voluptuous and I can’t recall .. buttoned up. Prim. Adopted child. The parents had their own baby. Heroine is very loving. Her sister is cruel. Says bad things. Tells her she’s a hanger on. A handsome Italian playboy gets interested in heroine. They get engaged and wedding bells are coming nearer.
Then she gets a video of him with another woman.
When she reaches fiancé’s office to break things off the man’s step brother (who is the hero) is going to pull up the fiancé for embezzling.
Heroine and hero open the door to the office and catch the man screwing heroine’s sister
Heroine is in shock. Runs to the car park. The hero who has fancied her like crazy from the moment he saw her runs after her out of sympathy.
She throws up right in front of him. Spectacularly.
He gives her water. Takes her to his apartment.
They’re kissing.. wait he kisses her after she threw up.
Hmm
Anyway. He tells her he fancies her and she realises she is attracted and basically she wants revenge.
Hero takes her away to Greece and sleeps with her the same day.
He tells her that since the money his step brother embezzled is in her account locked in for one month he will keep her under his eye till she signs it back to him.
She. Sleeps with the hero the day she really talks to him.
Before that he was continuously sarcastic to her. Mean boy fancying the one he humiliates thing. Sour grapes. You can’t have something then you say it’s bad.
Anyway. He wines and dines her. Takes her to parties. announces that they are engaged. Marries her. Takes her around the world with him. Is so obsessed that some days he takes her to office with him.
In the end they fight about his being with his ex wife and her being with ex boy friend.
They clear the misunderstanding and happy ever after.
Hero was besotted.
Heroine was in lust with his body.
I wish I could write the sex scenes like Michelle Reid but I can’t. I just don’t know how.
Heroine unbuttoning his shirt every time she sees him. Licking him. Etc etc.
They were quite obsessed with each other. But I didn’t feel that angst from the story.
Three and a half to four stars.
It’s nice.
But not superlative like The Dark side of Desire by the same author for example.
Prim and proper Natasha is engaged to suave and sophisticated Rico, she never really wrapped her head around the why only the feeling of being wanted. That quickly evaporates when she catches Rico with her sister who has always been the one to get attention, devotion, and the love of her parents.
Rico's brother Leo has been jealous, he wants Natasha for himself. When Natasha breaks her engagement, he wants to carry her away and treasure her in ways she would never imagine possible. Leo's stance on Natasha is abruptly halted when he believes her to be in cahoots with his traitorous brother, trying to steal his money. He has six weeks with Natasha before the treachery is to take place and although he no longer trusts her, he plans to use the time wisely with her in his bed. Although when Leo realizes she was a virgin, he marries her out of duty, but the two seem to be more than willing to throw barbs at one another rather than figure out what is in their heart.
Although I enjoyed this one, there were times when you wanted to smack them both. Leo put so much weight on Natasha being the one person who has integrity, he becomes bitter without getting all the facts correct. Natasha is hurt, not just by Leo but her ridiculous family as well and I think she is just lost, not knowing what to do. Would read more from Michelle Reid for sure, but a few moments were a bit over the top.
This one packed in EVERYTHING! Crazy ex-wife, bitchy sister, horrible parents, a-hole fiancee, stolen funds, kidnapping, humiliating newspaper headlines, and even a slap and a drink getting flung into the hero's face.
I'm exhausted.
But I liked the hero and heroine, and after all that angst, they did get their HEA on a secluded romantic Greek island that the hero owns, of course.
Greek billionaire Leo Christakis is convinced the drab, shapeless suits worn by Natasha are simply a cover for the gold-digging harlot who lies beneath.
Mistakenly thinking Natasha's been stealing from his company, Leo commands her to be at his beck and call--in and out of the bedroom. Natasha is thrown into his world of unimaginable luxury. Then Leo discovers she's innocent--in every sense! Now she has no choice--she must become the Christakis bride!
Reading this book is like a roller coaster ride. This story captivated me from the start. Once I started, I just couldn’t put it down. Loved every minute of it. I loved the jerky, ruthless hero, strong, sassy heroine, jealousy, angst, great grovels, and this book had it all. And this was definitely another scorching hot read, and it’s something that I have come to expect from Michelle Reid!
