Highly informative. Every educator should read this. A good deal of stats taken from 120 studies. Bottom line: a child should not have more than 90 min of homework in middle school and 2hrs in high school. Homework is good, but in moderation it seems from the data.

The facts are there, but then I was a bit perplexed as to how when there is no proof that homework is useful in elementary school that there was still a recommendation for homework. I did like reviewing the studies, but basically it just doesn't seem like there is enough studies for something so important.

Very clear, evidence-based, and nuanced exploration.
