What do you do when you discover that your best friend at work sabotaged your promotion? Or if a neighbor suddenly decides that you don't belong in his town? What if a group of teens sets out to make your life a living hell? Silver's Spells for Protection contains tips for dealing with all these situations, and more.
This book covers how to handle stalkers, abusers, and other nasties with practical information as well as magickal techniques. It also discusses some of the other irritants in life-like protecting yourself from your mother-in-law's caustic tongue and how to avoid that guy who's out to take your job.

I couldn't give it 5 stars because either SHE didn't do her research correctly or the publisher screwed up. Page 34 under "Penelope's Protection Web" she states the Penelope is a fate goddess who is the mother and consort of Pan. Silver also says the Penelope was the one to not cut the thread of Odysseus' life so he couldn't die.
GLARINGLY obvious mistake. Penelope was his *wife*, a mortal woman, not a Fate goddess and it was Athena who helped him along the way. No where in Homer's Odyssey is Penelope a goddess responsible for the life of her husband. It's such a huge mistake for someone Author or Publisher who's business is to know the basics.
Other than that, however the book is good and has some good ideas for use.
Whether we are warded, protected by deity, or armed with a licensed weapon, we can never have enough protection around us these days. With that in mind, Silver Raven Wolf has written a concise, pointedly plain spoken, pocket-sized book of spells to keep you safe. It works.
