i actually had the original one first edition at the time it was a comprehensive introduction to angles
but is actually medieval ritual magic clips and snips from books like the Picatrix
with golden dawn enochian magic overlays with poetic licence
the original one has talismans and gives excellent descriptions of the moon phase angels
although makes the mistake of the direction of the moon in the sky.
comparative to the hindu Panchangam refers to the five attributes of the day - Tithi (lunar day),
which developed in rediscovery of the younger futhark in the prose edda where it is asked what goddess are there? frigg being full moon and the new the sol and billy together = conjunction.
new moon = 15 runes of the younger futhark - 14 nights A fortnight is a unit of time equal to 14 days (2 weeks). one 1/2 month divided into 9 = 8 angels of the phases of the moon. not realised by the author. because she is an author and a wiccan and the sun do do not go round in circles but the sun will rise south east at midwinter and north east in mid summer. a thing wiccans have never noticed !

There are not a lot of good books about working with the Angels, so I decided to give this one a try. I was pleasantly pleased to see that this book was filled with good information on working with the different angelic beings and some historical information as well. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking to get more in touch with these particular magical entities.

A decent amount of information about angels however I found it lacking on more ways to work with them. It was mostly just a large book of correspondences and the very strange lesser banishing ritual. I'd still have the book in my collection but don't believe I'd use it very much.

Really useful reference text on angels, their names, stations, ranks, sigils, and so forth. A must for ceremonial magicians.

Finally finished! I do love this book and enjoyed re-reading it. I will definitely try the Angelic rosary which is probably one of my favorite things in this book.

SRW, love her or hate her, she sure delivered in this book. If you are into angelic magick, this is the book for you. Loads of information that one can work with. This is not a book about Wicca or Witchcraft at all, so any biases should be put off to the side. Clearly written, I found this book to be informative and interesting.

The book is interesting, I'll give it that. It delves into the workings of Angels, using a mainly Christianized approach to contacting them. She does so rather respectfully and without her usual talking down to that she's known for in many of her other books. She starts with the basics for people who are wanting to deal with angel magic, but she keeps the more experienced people in mind as she writes.
