Sandra Whitson, a precocious young woman, reflects over the shaping of her identity and sexuality through memories of herself, her family, and the men she has interacted with. By tracing over her experiences with layers of literary, musical, and cinematic allusion, she comes to terms with the fragility of her life thus far and what it takes to truly understand one's self.
Rose Owens comes from a background of enthusiastic individuals, who absolutely frolic throughout their every day lives, sampling and engaging in absolutely everything. She is attempting to follow in their gracious footsteps, and hopes that by the end of her life, she will have read “Remembrance of Things Past” and sampled the cheeses of the world. She lives in San Francisco.
