I may be a monster, but I always get what I want.

Letting Serafina go was a mistake. Maybe the biggest I’ve ever made.

Too bad I didn’t realize it until she was forced into an arranged marriage with my worst enemy.

I’ve always done whatever the mafia asked of me. Gave up everything I loved in the process.

But I won’t do it this time.

Because even though she hates me for betraying her, I’ll make her love me again—even if I have to wage a brutal war in her name. Hell, I’ll burn my life to the ground and let her bathe in the ashes if that’s what she wants.

In the end, Sera will be my wife.

And God have mercy on our enemies, because I sure as hell won’t…

Hi! My name is Angel Rayne and I write dark, delicious romance with antiheroes who would burn down the world to save the woman they love. I never understood why the villains never win the girl, and so I decided to write them their own love stories where they do.
Here are a few other odds and ends about me…
-Music inspires my stories and I make playlists for every book.
-I am not a fast writer. My stories take time to write. They need to brew in my head. To have book releases close together I have to write ahead. But I would much rather take the time the stories need to be the best they can be than try to rush them out. Trust me on this one.
-I love the rain, and I'm happiest when I'm sitting in a coffee shop with my laptop as it storms outside.
-I prefer to go watch movies alone, with one of those fancy coffees hidden in my purse. (Yes, I really do this.)
-My husband calls me his "little bird" because anything that sparkles catches my eye.
-I will never have enough soft blankets. Ever.
-I love ALL THE DRAMA…at least in books.
-I will forever re-watch The Phantom of the Opera with the hope that by some miracle, this time she will choose correctly.

The dreaded betraying body syndrome strikes again

I really, really wanted Sera to be stronger than she was. Now, she's just another one THOSE heroines who are viciously wronged, but cave at her man's touch after a few snarky words. I ended up skimming over the s*x scenes because who allows backdoor action after a MASSIVE betrayal like that?!?! Smh

Enzo and Sera are the focus of this book. If you haven’t read the other book before this then don’t read this yet. Don’t read any further into this review if you haven’t read the last book yet. That’s last warning. Here I go. First off, sad Enzo gave Sera back!!! But totally get why he would want to. Enzo is so perfection. I love his protectiveness of Sera. Ugh you won’t be disappointed. Enzo forever in my heart I need him and more books with him ALWAYS.

This story continues on from book 2, His Rejection, and right away I wanted to kidnap Serafina and take her somewhere safe. This is exactly how the writing stirs emotions and is a great demonstration of this author’s writing ability.

Ah, Enzo! You made me so mad in the last book; however, I understand now why you did what you did so much better… it still wasn’t great but I forgive you. Big of me, I know! 😄

Sera is literally on a merry-go-round with everything that happens, although some of the drama is brought on by herself. I felt so sorry for her so many times and really couldn’t see how things could be solved. My heart was swollen with pride as she stuck to her guns insisting on leaving Enzo and the mafia behind—and how could you blame her?

Steamy scenes between the two almost steal the show but then the last section of the book becomes exciting plus and I couldn’t read fast enough. I love the twists in the story and after that ending am eager to read Tristan’s story next. What a tempting last chapter that was, such a tease. There are still some questions that need answers too, bring it on!

This is part of the His Possession Trilogy so buckle up this is a wild ride, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, so gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love (ALL THINGS TO EXPECT FROM THE MAFIA WORLD). By the time you’ve figured out who is who and what is what, you’re already hooked, and you may as well give up the fight and prepare yourself for an all-nighter! CAN’T SAY YOU WEREN’T WARNED!!!!! The second book lives you hating Enzo wanting to slap some sense into his big head and wanting to take Sera putting her in protection because her live from the moment of rejection is a ride that she needs to buckle up for because there are going to be so many twists and turns. Sera only wanted freedom to live normally, to live happily, and to not have to stay hidden for her own safety. Enzo wanted his girl he isn’t a man who knows the word NO in fact that gives him fuel to work harder and he is no stranger to working out a plan to take who/what he wants that happens to be Sera. These two will have you laughing one minute and wanting to hurt someone the next minute but the one constant is wanting to hug Sera for everything she has been through and Enzo wanting to be her savior without making him look weak but is it enough, will he save her before any more abuse takes place, will she make him work for her since he rejected her, and can they finely get their own HEA?.

What a great way to finish off the trilogy!! No wonder Angel is climbing my list of favorite authors! Enzo was going to have a lot of groveling and explaining to get his redemption and forgiveness for the decision he made in book 2. His explanation and reasoning for his actions makes it easier to grant him forgiveness. All Sera wanted was to be free and happy but it wasn't safe for her out in the world alone. She tried to fight her feelings for Enzo so hard. The sacrifice he was willing to make to be with her was swoon worthy 😊! Her actions at the end of the book proved how much she really did love Enzo. There is plenty of steam in this one 🥵 but also lots of heart 🥰 and suspense 😬. Couple ends in an hea but another mystery is planted that will lead to Tristan's story. I can not wait for that, he's been my favorite with his silent strength, mysteriousness and loyalty. It will be exciting to read about a woman who is strong enough to bring him to his knees. And also get some background history that made him the man he is.

Following the jaw-dropping cliffhanger in book two, Enzo is forced to watch a nightmare unfold right before his eyes as Serafina is walking down the aisle to be wed to the mafia boss. My heart broke for Serafina — her past trauma, abuse, and continued sacrifices she’s had to endure are gut wrenching. Enzo realizes his mistakes and is desperate to reclaim Sera for himself. He grovels, but mostly coerces Sera into submission through manipulating her body. I was relieved that Sera continued to fight Enzo, but disappointed she was the heroine that allowed her body to win the fight. I really wanted her to have a successful escape attempt, live her own life for a while, and then maybe reconnect with Enzo after he suffers… but sadly we didn’t get that. In the end, Enzo and Sera find their happily-ever-after. Enzo does have to work for it, but it just wasn’t enough for me. *sigh*

So continues the final in the trilogy of Enzo and Serafina and what a ride! after the second book ended on a hellish cliffhanger I could barely wait to see what would happen and lord knows it doesn't disappoint!

I have loved the story of fiery and spirited Sera and the enigmatic mafia man Enzo. After reading the horror story of his life and actions in book 1, I couldn't imagine I would ever warm to him but he's my new book boyfriend and I'm unashamedly under his spell. He, sadly for me, is under Sera's though and the steam and lust filled passion is hot, hot hot!

The conclusion of this fabulous three parter is uber satisfying with just the right amount of angst. My only complaint? What the heck do I do know that this ship has sailed into port?

I go after Luca and Veda's story - characters featured in this book and I know Angel Rayne won't disappoint.

Loved, loved, loved these books. Exemplary writing a zip along plot, characters you can really get behind and heat hotter than a desert.

This book made me feel like I was in a rollercoaster 😭😭 it was a lot of stuff happening and then it'll feel normal again and next paragraph something else is going on.

Sera will always have a special place in my heart. This woman has gone through so much and doesn't let it break her.

Enzo is someone that has also gone through stuff and he is a little bit rough around the edges, but we can't deny how much he loves Sera.

With what happened at the end of the second book I didn't know how this one was gonna go but I'm glad Enzo stopped being an ass and decided to go get his girl.

I honestly had no idea how they would have made it work between them bc they do have a completely different future in mind. But I'm glad they were able to solve the issues they had. After everything they went through they deserve to be happy and peaceful.

The only reason I'm not giving the book 5 starts its bc I would have loved to actually read a chapter or two of them just living blissfully happy. We know they got their happy ending we just didn't get to read about it as much.

After reading book two, "His Rejection," I wanted to protect Serafina and take her somewhere safe right away. This is a great illustration of the author's writing ability and exactly how the writing stirs emotions. Well, Enzo! In the previous book, you made me so angry; But now I know why you did what you did so much better; even though it wasn't great, I forgive you. That's a lot, I know! Even though she is to blame for some of the drama, Sera is literally on a roller coaster with everything that happens. I really couldn't see how things could be resolved, and I felt so sorry for her so many times. She stuck to her guns and insisted on leaving Enzo and the mafia behind, and how could you blame her? Her determination made my heart swell with pride. I couldn't put the book down after the final section became exciting and steamy scenes between the two almost stole the show. The story's twists are my favorite, and I can't wait to read Tristan's next chapter!.

After I was so furious with Enzo in book two, this third and last book had me tuds my head with his way to redeemed him self.
And if you think it would be sweet, you're so wrong... Lol.
Lots of angry smegsi! Wohoo... Lol

"...We could fight later. After I’d come inside of her so many times my ⚽ were shriveled and purple and my 🐓 was raw and neither one of us could walk..."
Yep this line had me laughing while my undies got so wet.

Enzo is every bit of bulldozer with his way of making sure Sera stays, I am so with Sera with how hard she refused him.

At the end? This trilogy win in Enzo stand true to his colour although sometime I wanna whack his head then kiss him senseless.
While Sera, I understand her character well but to not want his dad be handle, I still need to make peace with it... Lol yes I'm that Savage.

Book 3 picks up right where book 2 left off. Enzo didn't want to claim Sera as his own and now she has been fated to marry Luca's evil father Luigi. Ciro, Sera's father deemed her as damaged goods when she was sent back home to live. He wanted revenge against her for making the family look bad so he sold her to the highest bidder that would abuse her in whatever way they desired. Enzo suffered through the wedding and reception due to Luca, Veda, and Tristian talking him off a ledge to try and see the bigger picture in the situation. No longer able to control himself, he had to visit Sera that night to see if she was okay. He saw that Luigi was abusing her and all HE!! breaks loose. The book is fast paced after that turn of events. It ends with a HEA and sets the pace for the next character book. I can't wait to see how things turn out for Tristian.

Angel Rayne…ruining my TBR one dark mafia romance at a time! This was the end of Enzo and Sera’s wild ride…which you need to read the first two books (so spoilers ahead). In book 3 Sera is married to Luca’s Dad…for a hot minute…after Enzo rejects her pretty epically. How he thought he was doing her a favor I’ll never understand but makes for very engaging reading! Once Enzo sits through the wedding, he realizes what an awful mistake he made and glorious chaos ensues. I can’t say much else without major plot spoilers but the book is fast paced, suspense and has plenty of spice. It’s also a relatively short read that you can finish in a night. Tristan’s story is next and I’m pretty pumped to see what she’s doing for the robot dude.

This was a fantastic conclusion to Sera and Enzo's story. Angel Rayne gave them the ending that was befitting a mafia man of his stature. This book picked up right where the last one ended. You can truly feel the anguish Enzo is experiencing in this messed up situation. I am so glad he pulled his head out of the sand and finally went after Sera. It takes a real man to admit his feelings and give himself to the woman he loves. Enzo and Sera have so much to overcome to get their HFN. This book has all the good stuff you expect in a mafia book. Lots of suspense, angst and exceptionally delicious sexy times. This trilogy has been fantastic. I can not wait to see what Angel does for Tristan's story.

The conclusion to Serafina and Enzo's story starts at her wedding to his sworn enemy and Luca's father their mafia boss. Letting Serafina go was a mistake, back to her ruthless father was a mistake a mistake he soon regrets especially when he sees his enemy at the alter with her. Sara has become a much stronger woman; she knows Enzo loves her just not enough to fight for her when she needed him most. Can she overcome his betrayal? He knows he can't let her go; he rescues her from his enemies, but will she ever forgive him? Will she ever love him again? Sera's life has become a rollercoaster ride, a ride filled with emotions, betrayals and secrets from the men meant to protect her. This is the third and perfect conclusion to this amazing trilogy, and this story picks straight up from the ending in the previous novel. Enzo knows he has made a mistake in letting Sera go, and she is now being forced into an arranged marriage with his worst enemy. Will Enzo be able to get Sera back, or is it too late? This is a well written story which has angst, betrayal, intrigue, challenges, suspense, danger, twist, revelations, redemption, and love, which leads to a steamy and riveting page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Well Enzo had to fight to win Sera's love and devotion again. Enzo was like a man on a suicide mission. Terrified, scared and unsure of himself. I wasn't sure there for a minute if he was going to take Sera and himself out. Sera was brave. She knew what had to be done even though her heart told her otherwise. At the end all was settled with three magic words. I enjoyed reading this. Looking forward to Tristan's story.

I awaited the final instalment of Enzo and Sera’s story with baited breath. It picks up right where ‘His Rejection’ left us hanging.

An amazing finale to the trilogy. It really does have everything you could possibly want…….suspense, obsession, tragedy, drama and plenty of RED HOT steam which brings out all types of emotions as you read. It’s deliciously dark and dangerous, the writing is fantastic and keeps you gripped throughout.

A fabulous read that I highly recommend if you enjoy very dark and twisted Mafia romance. A definite 5 star series. Can’t wait for Tristan’s story which we were given a little taster of at the end of this book!.

I absolutely loved this book it was so good, the storyline was captivating and was a page turner and the characters were sensational. This story was about Enzo he is known as a monster people are scared of him, he works for his good friend Lucas, he wants her but doesn't trust himself he is scared he would hurt her. Serafina has been treated badly by her father she is constantly having things happen to her, and now her father wants to arranged her marriage so he becomes more important and he gains alot more wealth.

This is the third book in this trilogy and they must be read in order. The story picks up right where book two ends. Enzo thought that by sending Sera back with her father he was saving her. He couldn’t have been more wrong. He is conflicted by his past. He won’t allow himself to be happy and claim Sera like he wants. Now he must watch her get married to someone else. Not just anyone either. His boss’s boss. The man they are trying to take out. Sera can’t believe Enzo just gave her back to her father like they didn’t share anything or have a connection. Maybe she is just naïve. Maybe he was using her. Things are about to get interesting. Enzo can’t just leave Sera alone. He needs to make sure she is okay. This is the final book in the series. If women who can’t resist the dark men who hurt them isn’t your thing than you may want to skip this series. Sometimes you just can’t help who you fall for. I loved this series. The series is a wild ride for sure. It is dark and twisty. Enzo and Sera’s romance isn’t hearts and flowers. It’s danger and darkness. Fantastic job Angel.

This was an interesting conclusion to the His Angel series. Sera goes through a lot throughout this series and Enzo does not make things easier on her.

I figured he had an uphill battle to win her back after what he did at the end of book 2....and boy was I right.

Can't say I'm overly surprised by the ending, but it was a pretty good read.

I love how obsessed Enzo is but think he was stupid for his actions at the end of book 2.

Such a great read - be warned you will FEEL so much reading this book! I dont want to give away any spoilers but oh my...Enzo! There's so much pain in the opening scenes of this story that it stops your heart for a moment as you try to process the reality of total emotional devastation, the cruelty of knowing someone you love is lost to you and then some... Ugh, now to get a cuppa tea and stop being such a crybaby!

Angel Rayne has written a suspenseful and tumultuous Mafia romance. Her characters are well defined and come to life in the first chapters. You will quickly understand the dynamics even if you didn't read the first book in this series. There us mystery, intrigue and lots if steam interwoven with loyalty and love. There is a happy conclusion to the romance even if there are some unanswered questions that will prompt you to read the next book in the series.

Amazing

This entire series rocked my world. I felt all the feelings . I laughed , I cried , I had anxiety like no book has ever given me before. I wanted to hurt Enzo at times and other times I loved him. The tension and chemistry between Sera and Enzo was off the charts. They do not have an easy journey but it was a relief that they got a Hea. I wanted more of them after they were settled and it ended too soon. I don’t think I will ever get enough though . This series has made me a fan of this author for life!

They've both suffered enough. Enzo denied Sera in book 2 and now that he sees what's happened to her and how her life will play out, he can't accept it. His life is nothing without her in it, but her life will be a living hell for her. Now Enzo will force Luca to bring his plans forward so that Enzo can reclaim Sera and make her his.
Enzo will have a lot of work to do to convince her that he's being truthful and genuine about his feelings for her. He's hurt her deeply by his rejection in book 2, so he's going to have to grovel a lot to get her now.

This is Enzo and Sera’s last journey. I was mad for the treatment Sera got and that Enzo gave her away back to her father. He did everything he could to repair his actions to when he understood finally that he couldn’t live without her, even thinking to start a new life with her far away from his family. What a deserving end for both.
“You are the only light in my life, Sera. I can’t let you walk out of it and leave me in the darkness”.

Since I'm an avid reader, it was hard for me to get back into the series as I forgot how the second book ended already. While it did come crashing back to me, I still had a hard time liking Enzo even though you start to understand his reasoning. Sera on the other hand, caved in and I found myself in the middle when it came to both characters. An interesting, but a little drawn out read in my opinion. I received an advanced copy and I'm leaving this review voluntarily.

This is already the last part of the His Possession Trilogy. Just like with the other parts you are glued to your book. And now there is drama and in this part we also go back to part 2. The characters in this story are great and strong, I could tell more but I say, go read this series is really worth it, You won't be disappointed.

The ending of book 2 had me hooked and I was looking forward to see how it would play out. Sera was really adamant she leaves while Enzo learned his lesson and refuses to let her go. They were at an impasse and the plot was building up but the ending was anticlimactic. The power play from Enzo and Sera was as to be expected like from previous books.
