part autobiography, part anthropology, part spiritual healing/journey guide, part historical account.
It was a good reminder about ritual, spiritual journeys and indiginous views.

Hawk woman dancing under the moon is beautiful written, Tela Star Hawk Lake drew me in and captivated me with the story of her life and her struggles all while becoming a shaman in a westernized world. Thank you for such a wonderful book and what it taught me.
