It's finally here! Alex and Shayla are about to get married and start a new and happy life together. If only they could figure out what secret Zoie is keeping from them. I absolutely LOVE this series! The heroine is brilliant. Writing flows nicely and you are immediately drawn in. Do yourself a favor and start at the beginning!

Deadly Vows is Book 16 in the Witch in the Woods series by Jenna St. James.
Such a fantastic wedding. Pretty sure I am not giving anything away with the title.
This is an exciting installment in this long running series.
Shayla, Alex, Zoie, and Needles are getting ready for the wedding, but there is so much action going on with a murder mystery. The characters in this series are like HOME.
The descriptions are so vivid. Looks like we might be getting a spin off too!
This is simply a must-read series for fans of Cozy Paranormal series with fantastic world building.
This author knows how to develop characters and worlds that will leave you flipping the pages for more.
Highly recommend!

Good
Shayla and Alex’s wedding draws near, but someone is targeting the gargoyles on the island, and it hits a little close to home!
One or two rather important events happen in this book, including what appears to be the foreshadowing of a new series! That being said, most of the events are not surprises, being things we’ve waited for a while now, and it all wraps up beautifully (thoughI admit to a few teary moments).
An enjoyable addition to the series, as we see Shayla finally walk down the aisle. It’s not a standalone, you have to have read the other fifteen books before this one, but it’s well worth the time to do so.
Recommended for paranormal mystery lovers.

This series just keeps getting better and better and I see a possible spin-off happening which would be so exciting. This mystery kept me on the edge of my seat waiting to find out how it would be resolved. Such suspense. Love how everyone on the island comes together to support each other. Absolutely beautiful wedding. Very vivid details, I felt like I was there watching it. And GiGi is starting a new adventure of her own too. So many wonderful characters. Looking forward to the next book. All around Excellent!!

Another exciting adventure for Shayla, Alex, Grant and Zoie. Preparations for the Shayla and Alex's wedding are almost finished but the murder of the oldest gargoyle on Enchanted Island comes first. Suspense, a fast paced plot, and a lovely wedding made this one a compelling read from first page to last. All of the characters are so well developed now that I feel like I'm visiting old friends when I open a new book in this series. Looks like Ms. St. James has a new spin-off in the works for some of the characters which makes me very happy.

What an action packed journey for Shayla, friends and family! Non stop action, unexpected twists ending with every magic being pulling together for the win. The ending has a very happy ending where I laughed, clapped and cried. I hope this was not a spoiler for you...BUT...there is always more than one way to experience happiness, since there is more than one happy ending going on. Thank you Ms. Jenna for another magical journey

When the oldest gargoyle on the island is murdered and a message left on the wall written in his blood, it's all hands on deck whether or not they're just days away from the wedding.
Weirdly, the clues appear to point to Seattle, but its not until a second murder attempt fails that they can start digging into the who and why.
Simple tale, don’t expect anything deep or particularly thought-provoking!

Good read
The wedding is nearly there and all seems to be going well. Then come murders, mystery, and kidnappings. There is also humor, love, magic and family. This book is short, but well written and holds your interest. I love all the quirky, paranormal characters and new ones seem to be added with every new book. Highly recommend.

All I expected.
All I had expected and a lot more! When you read a book from Jenna St James you will experience a lot of surprises and . Her books keep you entertained, before the books over. I have tell myself there are more books out there of Jenna's.You certainly won't get bored.

Consistently fun, easy read. Good characters - both primary and secondary as well as overall mystery to solve. The gargoyles are involved this time, and it really hits close to home. Shayla and Alex head for their wedding and Zoie makes a huge life decision. This continues to be a must-read series for me.

I like this series so much and this is a really good book, I like it a lot. I really like Shayla and Alex. Things are getting ready for a big changes and we'll see what happens in the story lines. I can't wait to read the next book.

Outstanding!!! Jenna St. James continues to throw twists and turns into the ongoing story of Shayla, Alex, Zoie, and the rest of the characters. Her ability to keep the saga going strong is incredible. It was hard to put the book down because of wanting to know what was next.

An exciting adventure
This book was very exciting, but there were some sad, messed up people involved. There was a murder to solve and a wedding to take place. There were also many changes announced. I am excited to see what happens next.

oh my, tears and more tears
This one had my full fledge crying in the middle. I feel like I k is all these people and their lives really touch me. Silly I know but yet I’m crying while reading because it describes such emotions.

This story one hits close to home and kept me worried throughout the book. I was so concerned for the safety of beloved characters. Faithful readers do get a beautiful wedding, as the title implies, to make the anxiety worth it. I think this is one of my favorites.

Terrific Read
The story is outstanding. With a wedding about to happen a murder and mystery are all woven together into an exciting plot that keeps you reading. Great book.
