This is a terrific book on leadership, regardless if you have been labeled as "difficult" or "too much." The parts that really resonated for me are the focus on ego and not being afraid to ask for help. Just because you are the leader of your team does not mean you have to be the "CEO of Everything" and have all the answers to every situation. A good leader knows to fill their team with the right people and listen to ideas from all areas and levels. Focus on being present and listening, doing pulse checks, and realize you are going to fail sometimes and that is ok. Learning opportunities are everywhere.

There is a great chapter on not becoming Mt. Vesuvius. Where you try to take on everything and not speak up and let things build and fester, because you have to be the superstar who knows everything...until one day, BOOM! The volcano explodes from all the pressure and ash flies in the air to cover everything in its wake. I have been there and this was a good reminder to reach out and it is ok to let others weigh in and offer alternatives and slow down. Highly recommend this book to leaders everywhere!
