This was an epic, amazing conclusion! And once again the Joker hologram steals the best lines, but the banter between Dick and Jason was funny, too, and pretty normal across all universes, lol.

I don't know much about Batman Beyond, so I can't comment on the conclusion to the version presented here other than it's true to this universe, and I love this universe. I can't wait for the next series, although it'll be weird not having Murphy's art. There's a short preview at the end.

So, the whole ending reveal has me so hyped for the 2nd to last series he has planned out for this universe. I can't say as I care too much about what's coming next esp since he's not writing it, but hopefully he's working the last section and it'll be fantastic and I can't wait.
But this issue was great Dick vs Jason banter, Bruce accepting the Bat, lots of fun.

Puede que no sea un remate todo lo épico que parecía proponer este nuevo capítulo del Whiteverse... Y ojo, que tenemos toda una lucha campal por el corazón de la Justicia de esta Neo Gotham hasta con batallas aéreas... Pero si dejamos de lado lo bien que maneja y se divierte Sean Murphy escribiendo y dibujando a esta dispar pero afianzada Batfamilia, sí que el conjunto ha terminado cojeando por la parte de Terry y toda la amenaza de Powers. Además de volver a dejar bien claro que Murphy no tiene problemas en expandir nuevos frentes de este Elseworlds que, sí, TODOS son apetecibles (como lo era este White Beyond). Pero me interesaría que los conjuntos fuesen todo lo sólidos que fueron las dos primeras entregas troncales.

As I was reading this issue I was feeling nostalgic, fuzzy and a bit verklempt, the great White Knight Universe was coming to an end. This issue did not disappoint and Murphy knew perfectly how to tie everything up and deliver all the feels. Sniffle. Wow, what an amazing run. That was until I got to the final page and…wtf? It’s continuing? With naughty Pig drawing Mirka Andolfo? And Murph doing Supes and Double Dub?? Full take and FOIA text from DC Editorial meeting at:

“DOUBLE CROSS! CLASSIC BAD-GUY TWIST!”
Once again Jack Napier/Joker steals the show, but the entire ensemble was handled deftly in this finale. It was a strong ending to another great arc in the Murphy-verse Batman saga.** I can’t wait to see what’s next.
**my only tiny little complaint is that SM sometimes draws tiny little hands and feet, and it results in some really effeminate looking legs/lower torsos on the men. I noticed it a lot on Dick this arc. A tiny little nitpick, I know.

4 stars. Bruce putting on the mask was everything I needed. Loved that moment. And the ending has me so excited to see what’s gonna happen next now that we’re incorporating Superman into things! Can’t wait!
