G.K. DeRosa

G.K. De Rosa has been an avid reader from a very young age. In fact, before she could even read, she tried fooling everyone into thinking that she could. At the precocious age of two, while living in Italy, she had memorized an entire children’s book in Italian and expertly turned the pages at the exact right moments of the story. As she grew up, she always enjoyed literature, no doubt having been instilled with a love of story telling from her early years in Catholic school where she was greatly influenced by exemplary teachers who taught her the value of English and Literature. Though she did not pursue writing in college and instead went for the more traditional route of International Business inspired by her love for travel and all things foreign, after a move to New York City, she found her creative writing side calling once again. She began writing a restaurant review blog, City Lights and Tasty Bites, detailing her other passion – food! The hectic hustle and bustle of the city, combined with long commuting times gave her the opportunity to spend more time reading and rekindled a lost love. After reading countless books in many diverse genres over the two years in New York City, and returning to her home state of Florida, she felt compelled to write something for herself. She had always felt particularly drawn to Young Adult novels and having been an eternal romantic at heart, a fantasy romance was a natural choice. She currently lives in South Florida with her real life Prince Charming and their fur baby, Nico the German Shepherd.

The more time I took to think about this, the more I realized how much I really didn’t like the ending to this trilogy.
What I really enjoyed was the subtle subterfuge, the attempts, the mystery of the series. This ending was a LOT not in that direction.
Especially for Sheppard. Like…greasy businessman yeah, but THAT too? Geez. And the sudden wolf involvement and how far that went; keeping it vague, but big yikes.
Overall I wish it went differently. It was a huge letdown and I felt true revenge should have been in Aspen’s happiness, not in the torture and the violence that seemingly came out of nowhere.
As a closer, I feel the alternate ending/bachelor was much better suited to her (and a much more healthy relationship!) but I could tell from the very beginning who Aspen was going to pick.

This series was well written. I would have enjoyed it a lot more if it was a RH. I liked a lot of the guys and so it was annoying just to end up having them be heartbroken and alone. This is especially true since I knew she’d pick Knox from the first book but the author made the other live interests so interesting that I started rooting for the other men. This author is very good but I don’t know if I can keep reading her books cause I think a lot of them will be like this.

This book was almost a 3 star. Thank god for the alternate ending. I wouldn’t be able to go to sleep if the last part was with her and Knox. Don’t get me wrong it would have been an okay ending cause their story comes full circle and all that but Slade was just the most perfect understanding and supportive guy. Her and Knox fought so much and every time she saw slade she was just happy. With Knox she was unsure how to approach him for 95% of the series. Slade and her both didn’t feel they deserved love and they found that with each other.

Our bachelorette is struggling to choose the right person for her. Fortunately, as readers, we don't need to be concerned since we still get to explore the possibilities in the sort of 'WHAT IF'. Personally, I favour the first ending because the second one feels emotionally lacking. This could be due to its shorter chapter length, which makes it harder for me to connect with it.

Although Aspen gets her happily-ever-after in this book, the series isn't finished yet, as we still have yet to discover the fates of the other bachelors. I also look forward to reading what happens to the bastard Winter Prince. Now that I think about it, the Winter Princes have tough luck in the reality show Hitched. Like Father, Like Son!

Hopefully, we will receive some updates on that, and one day Aspen will uncover the truth that has been kept from her.

What a page-turner!!! SAVAGE LOVE is the last book of this HITCHED series, and probably the most intense in content and smexy situations. Our bachelorette is down to the last four guys and we are right in the middle of family visits... so you can expect a whole lot of drama. The suspense of not knowing who Aspen is going to pick continues all the way up until the last moment... and honestly, it could have gone either way. Don't worry, she does get her HEA, and it's pretty sweet. While our girl is trying to figure out her heart most of the mysteries are unraveled and secrets are revealed. However, one unique element of this book is that some things are actually left up in the air and not tied up in a nice neat package - which is still driving me crazy because I have to know what happens! BUT, true to GK fashion, we do get those cameos from previous World of Azar MC's - something I personally LOVE, as it just adds to the dimensions of their characters and ties all the stories together. So grab this book, settle in, and happy reading!!!.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I did not read this series as it was being posted live on vella, but fell in love with it when it started getting published as a trilogy. I typically wait until the series is finished in order to binge it, but broke my rule for this series. It did not disappoint. This was the wrap up for Aspen and her bachelorette days on Hitched Live. While I was rooting for a different winner all along, her choice at the end was definitely a good one and I loved to read this book because it could go a different way than the author had intended due to the voting happening on kindle vella as it was being written. It shows more skill to adapt and make it work with the feedback and votes of the readers than it does to plan it all out by yourself. It was set up so nicely for the next season of Hitched Live and I am definitely waiting impatiently for the next one as this character has come to be my favourite.

Ugh while the “ending” was very predictable I am happy the author gave alternate endings so the people who picked correctly could see a happy ever after with slade ❤️🥵I honesty enjoyed this more then I expected to honesty. Was it the best thing written? Hell no, was it entertaining and a fun time? It was! I don’t often indulge in books that are like this but for this one I don’t regret that I did.

Hitched out

Love GK DeRosa, but I am officially Hitched out. Wasn’t the biggest fan of this one because Aspen really ruined it all for me, IMO.

Would love to read more of Deacon, Fallon or Slade - but am disappointed it will be thru yet another Hitched. 😕
No thank you.

Content Warnings: sexual content, violence, murder, sexual harassment, and attempted sexual assault.

Ngl...I wasn't happy with the buildup with all the relationships...I understand the final decision but I think more work could have gone into showing the connection from the start...because with what was shown I think the one for a perfect HEA was a much different choice...

Awful. I really struggled to finish this one. I know the author wrote an alternative ending, but sticking to just the book. It was super predictable, she chose the most vanilla ending. Tried as I might, I could never bring myself to even like the heroine. She was spoiled and whiny. Just awful overall, could have been written in one book instead of dragged out over 3, but guess she felt the need to drag it out.

Disclaimer: I’m going to review it without spoilers at the top, then create a line and anything below that line will be spoilers. Do with that what you will.

The final installment of Aspen’s story did not disappoint. For a book that I thought would be more of a wrap up, the events in the book continued to surprise me. And the ending was EXACTLY what I was wanting. The non-spoiler portion is small, because everything I loved and hated was a spoiler basically.

Here’s what I loved:
- The unexpected plot twists and events kept me completely engaged. I felt like so much happened in this book but it didn’t seem rushed.
- Favorite quote: “Forget I said any of that,” he said as he lowered his forehead to mine. “Just pretend I’m one of the other random bachelors and I just want to fuck you senseless.” // I love these effortlessly hilarious quotes
- Fallon’s storyline and development was just so good.

What I didn’t care for:
- I thought Knox’s wolf was black but in this book he’s gray?

SPOILERS BEYOND THIS POINT
———————————

What I loved:
- The alternate endings was a good way to make everyone happy.
- I’m SO happy that her choice was Knox. That boy stole my heart early on.
- Aspen going wolf and chasing after Knox when he needed to clear his head after she finally wolfed out. It was so cute!
- The way they handled Aspen discovering her shifter side. The block, her almost dying, etc was not what I was expecting and it was handled so well.
- Glad Deacon got eliminated. Though I was surprised that he didn’t fight for his place when it was brought up.
- So glad that Fallon got to connect with his mom and meet his grandfather. And his convo with his dad too. I didn’t care for him with Aspen but I like him overall.
- The confession with Knox about the money. Also, him admitting that he told Kole to cut the bond had my mind blown. Also, his confession about losing his shit when her and Kole’s bond clicked and how he had to go in front of the supreme alpha. This was insanely hot. The lack of a fated mate bond made his love and devotion to her that much more enjoyable.
- Kinda glad for the dad’s betrayal. And that Aspen doesn’t just forgive and everything is rainbows afterwards. That’s not reality ever.

What I didn’t like:
- Fallon trying to use Aspen as a sex toy, her getting pissed, then he apologizes by eating her out and she’s fine with it? That just made no sense.
- It’s kinda sad that Aspen’s memory was altered with Fallon. I get why but also just sad.
- Knox not getting his own gold pin without there being another gold pin guy when there were only 2 pins. Again, I get why. But I wanted my boy to have his one gold pin situation.
- Failed threesome. This would have been SO hot.
- Kinda wanted a pregnancy scare tbh. That would have been a fucking twist!

Heart breaking, made me cry... the angst is real!!

So, before I forget to add it to my review. There were one or two things that were unresolved in this book. One of which, without giving any spoilers, was that one of the main characters had someone do something for them, and the person said it would cost them. The main character said, "Do it, no matter the cost." It was never brought up again in the book. Typically, when something like that is said, it's more than money. Maybe it was just money, though? Or maybe it'll be brought up in another book? It's no biggie, just something I noticed! Also, I suspected a certain character to be working with those trying to kill Fallon, especially since they said they had a mole, but nothing came of that, either.

ANYWAY! This book was a bit hard to read. From the beginning, it was somewhat obvious who the winner would be, but to keep seeing people eliminated, especially with the final four contestants, then the final TWO... it was heartbreaking. It got to the point where the characters really started loving each other, so none of it was easy.

Spoiler, though?
There's actually an alternate ending if you choose to read it! I feel it was a little rushed and done as an afterthought, which it likely was, but it was still nice to read! I think in my mind, it helped soothe my heart a bit since you saw both finalists happy. Also, I'm probably just going to tell myself she got to have both, even if that isn't the case!

After this, I'm going to look for a happy, love from the beginning reverse harem, because this falling in love with multiple guys and having to choose HURT! (But great job, author!!)

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC copy of Savage Love in exchange for my honest review.
G.K. DeRosa has done it again, Savage Love is just incredible! I’ve absolutely loved all 3 books as well as the prequel in this series and became more and more invested with the characters as I read each book. By book 3 we know the Bachelors really well and I was just as torn as Aspen with each elimination. The remaining Bachelors are all amazing although they are all very different. I was really shocked by the elimination prior to the final 2, although I understood her reasoning. There was a lot of action, more mystery, murder attempts and lots and lots of schmexy times in Savage Love. I read this book in an afternoon because I couldn’t put it down.
I felt really bad for Aspen when the final 2 bachelor's visited her home. Her parents were awful, so cringy and completely embarrassing. Thankfully the men were ok with it and didn’t let it affect the way they felt about her.
I really loved the conclusion and the epilogue. I did feel awful for the runner up though, it was an impossible choice between 2 amazing bachelors. I can’t wait for the next season of Hitched when it’s released on Kindle and in book form since I can’t access Vella.
I highly recommend this book. Please be aware that it contains some dark themes, possessive males, adult steamy scenes and adult language.
PS there’s an alternative ending as well for people who aren’t happy with Aspen’s choice. Personally, I loved her choice even though I also thought the runner up was amazing.

SAVAGE LOVE by G.K. DeRosa is Book 3 in The Hitched Live Series & the epic finale in this “ADULT” paranormal romance. I started reading the series starting with the novella prequel: REJECTED MATE. This really drew me into wanting to read more of this series. Oh yes! You can read it for FREE! The complete series is now available, so, you can read them all. Savage Love is the only book to end in a Happily Ever After! It ends with her getting the love of her life, but you won't find out who that will be till the end. A series with heartache, tension, mystery, intrigue, dark paranormal, and steamy love scenes. In SWEET REVENGE, Aspen is picked to be the star of the TV show Hitched. She will get to date 12 gorgeous paranormal bachelors, and eliminate them as the show goes on, until she is down to two. The last show she must pick the one that will be the love of her life. I was worried, but she did pick the one I wanted her to be with forever after.

As I read the three books at a nonstop pace, I did forget to review each one individually. One could say that there’s no originality in writing about the same subject; however G.K. Derosa always surprises us. The story could have the same main theme, but the way that the facts are developed indicates how creative is this wonderful writer. This time, our main character is Aspen, a half blood that could not change into her wolf form, and a fantastic choice of bachelors directed by the well-known characters Sheppard and Dax. A fluid writing, a fast paced narrative, mysteries to be solved, hot scenes, passion, jealousy, friendship, and compassion are part of this serie. The settings are incredible and it’s great to revisit some places in Azar and meet again characters that are so dear to us. Certainly, this was a journey to remember.

Main Characters:
Aspen, Slade, Deacon, Fallon & Knox

Review:
I thought Aspen was a little hypocritical in this one. She went on the show fro money, but finding out the Knox did the same thing made her angry! I get that we were suppose to believe that she didn't know who she was going to choose but she kept telling us how right one felt vs how fun the other one felt.

Tropes:
-Demons
-Fae
-Monsters
-Novella
-Shifters
-Smut
-Succubus
-Tiger
-Wolf

Quotes:
"Never. We were fated to be, Aspen, mate bond or not. You and me, forever."

“As wolves, we’re so obsessed with the mate bond that we forget there are other things that can tie us together. Like genuine feelings and attraction that have nothing to do with a mystical connection determined by some ancient divine goddess.”

“… I will keep choosing you over and over again for the rest of our lives.”

This series has been such a rollercoaster of emotions and chaos. I have decided this author must have done one of these shows at some point in her life. Gonna have to look it up now. Very well done.

I’m okay with how it all worked out, for the most part. I’m still team Deacon and will likely continue reading the Hitched series. Deacon is my favorite and will remain that way.

I do wish we got more closure on the other bachelors. What happened to them all? Where are they? Does she ever see Fallon again? Did the two end up in prison or were they gotten off as it wasn’t their fault? Has Jack fully healed? Does she have kids? LoL. So many unanswered questions.

Ok so, this book was much more centered in the story and Aspen's indecision, I really felt like in the end she didn't make a decision, one of the bachelors did It for her, he loved her so much that it feels like he set her free be insinuating she should pick the other. Still, she ended up with my pick son i'm not mad 😅.

This one is the end on Aspen's season and I can't wait to read the next season, this time is a bachelor.

As for the 🌶️ I give it a 2 out of 5, because the steamy scenes were short and I appreciated it because at least they solved a lot of the drama and gave it a real closure.

On the other hand, there's Fallon, whose story feels really incomplete and I hope at some point there will be a follow up on that because it looks interesting.

>Book Review – Savage Love

>I am an independent reviewer. This book is the 3rd and final in the Hitched Live series and ends with an HEA and an alternate HEA. Aspen turned into a horny, selfish brat. She sleeps with the bachelors without any feelings and wonders why she can’t figure out her feelings for the last 2 bachelors. There were a lot of plot twists during the family visits and a lot more threats. I was sad to realize the memory wipe in regard to one of the bachelors.

>This book is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving this book 3 stars. I felt the alternate HEA was the correct HEA. That ending made the most sense.

Another great book. Loved this. This book kept me glued to the pages and didn't want to put it down. I loved both the bachelors Aspen had to choose between so I would've been happy with either one she chose, they were both so sweet and loved her so much, in the end I did think she picked the one she was suited to more, they were made for each other and went through so much together. I loved getting to know all the characters more in this book and I loved that you got a snippet of what was happening in the world of the bachelors that had been eliminated too. Highly reccommend reading this series ive very much enjoyed it. Can't wait to see what happens next.

wow

Absolutely love this series couldn’t wait to get to
The end and find out who she chose I was not disappointed.
The story was refreshing something different to
What I normally read would definitely re-read this series again.
Characters you can’t help but fall in love with them and you find yourself rooting for a couple of them even though in your heart you know who is the best fit and deserving, Then a couple of Characters you love to hate like in every series.
I’m hoping we find out more about Fallon in future books and his story.
Looking forward to the next character and his Hitched story.

vague review as I don’t want to give away spoilers.

When you know, you just know.

Okay this book and the series is much more spicy than most of the writers books.
You can skim the hotter parts without missing a beat. But it isn't to much you want to puke. It goes with the book with hot spice. I did skim some of the spice

Having said that without giving anything away. My guy won. Oh yes! I predicted and won. .

Don't worry at the end of the book she gives an alternate ending for those who are against my dude. It's okay.

Your dude is getting a series of his own!

Great read

I'm sad that I have reach the last book of this great series. But that just the way it is. Anyways we get to know the Bachelor really well in book 3 and I was just as torn as Aspen with each elimination. I will admit I was really surprised by the elimination prior to the final 2 although I understood her reasoning. I would have enjoyed it a lot more if this was a RH novel. So if your looking for a series with heartache, tension, mystery, intrigue, and schmexy times then I totally recommend that you one click one this series.

I did enjoy it but

This book would have gone down better as a #whychoose in my opinion, that way these important men could get a foothold in there territorys / places and she could flit between them so they could consentrate on there new/troubled positions. But thats not to say I wasn't kept guessing until very end.

Part of me was was like yeah that's understandable and other was like nope why?!?! After everything?!?!
Obviously can't go into much details without spoilers

Was a good book series however and I did devoure the 3 books in one day.

The writing in the series is fantastic (hence 3 stars) but I just didn't like the story as it left me feeling unsatisfactory. I think it was the overall concept. I like "mate" books because of the fantasy of having one true love. Even after rejection there is someone that both a wolf and a human would accept. Here we have two guys till the very end. A love triangle. And it ends with an HEA epilogue which I just didn't find enough. As such I didn't feel that the story ended in a HEA and having 2 alternative endings made that even worse. Just personal opinion/preference.

why?

While I really enjoyed the series, the ending was disappointing! I know that there’s more series and the characters connect and other stories are told but I just hated the ending of this one.

To me she chose the wrong guy hands down. Made the rest of the series feel like a let down in a way.

Overall it’s a good series with great characters and it’s really well written. It’s a good read, enjoyable even. It’s just not the outcome I would have preferred. Still I’d recommend checking it out as it is a good series with some good humour.

Quite enjoyed this series!

I really enjoyed this series. It sucked me in and held me captivated. The drama got to be a bit much, but I understand that was just to keep things lively and more even between the bachelors. I enjoyed learning more about each of them and seeing how they progressed through the storyline. Loved that Knox got his 2nd chance with Aspen, and I'm glad she was able to let go of the pain and freely be with him.

Ahhhh

Soooo goood!

I had a feeling from the very first book there would be some kind of way they would end up together. I just didn’t realize I would love it so so very much! This was an amazing series and I cannot wait to jump into Deacons. He deserves love just like Slade and Jack and Fallon.

This is an amazing story idea too. Not that it hasn’t been done before. I just. Damn this was good.

2.75⭐️ I can’t bring myself to rate this 3 stars because the writing is so repetitive and just not in the same league as some of my other 3 star ratings. The series isn’t bad, but it’s not very good either. With that said, I did read all three books because I wanted to know what happened at the end and I liked the premise.

I don’t think I would recommend it unless you’re looking for something mindless and the equivalent of the Bachelorette book version, after a more complex read.

DID NOT LIKE THE ENDING!!

Definitely I feel like she chose the wrong bachelor and I agree with one of the other reviews about some of the immaturity levels in the writing about the characters & how many times they wrote Slade backing down to Knox was not right. Knox was very annoying and whiny… personally, I feel like they’ve ruined the whole book & whole series when the author put her with knox…. big letdown
