Gwen Patterson expected an adventure when she signed up to work an archeological dig in Egypt, but she didn't expect to uncover a sinister plot involving a mummy and a mysterious golden scarab. Cursed to sleep for thousands of years, Kemnebi is awakened by Gwen's accidental blood sacrifice. Now freed, he must regain his power and defeat an old foe, or risk losing Gwen forever.
I would have given it a four star if it had been longer. An enjoyable story of a young, very normal, average girl finding love in the arms of a mummy that has come to life. Another reviewer call it smut and that fits; but it was well written smut. Many enjoy reading smut, I want the steam; if not I would be reading sparkling vampire books. There was romance, intrigue, a bad guy, the "rescuing of the damsel in distress" (LOL)that was blended well together. What was wrong with it? The length; so much was packed in that I felt, well, cheated. Not in a bad way, just I want more way.
I would love to see the author take this short story and expand on it, turning it into a full length novel with another adventure with this yummy mummy and the love of his life who was a normal girl, not some raving beauty size 0. I will definitely read more books by this author.
A college students goes on an archeological dig, finds a key, puts it in an artifact and falls into a tomb. She has brought a man back to life and faints when she sees him. He strips her clothes off and starts bathing her in a hidden underground pool. She revives as he rubs her body and lifts her in the water to place her on his penis. They have awesome sex and she really likes him a lot. She goes to find him clothes and her professor stops her. Then the free preview ended.

The sex with a total stranger she just saw as a walking corpse was a surprise. I didn't really find the heroine's reactions realistic, but they could have been justified more if the story were longer.
The title was witty and the picture was of some random guy.
The premise was fun enough that I'll give another story by the author a chance.
