Having read several books on magic and spells, I was pleasantly surprised to find that this book provides really simple spells that incorporate everyday items and without the lengthy rituals that appear in other books. Many of those books focus on Wiccan faith, however, religious belief isn’t a factor in Simple Spells for Success.
The author comes from the corporate world and has tailored this book for the business and corporate community as well as creative folks, which is a unique approach. She cites many examples of how individuals were stuck in their careers and eventually found solutions, although not always in the way they envisioned. Readers who are interested in this topic will find a no-nonsense, straightforward approach to manifesting what they seek.
Pages that list the ingredients required often include the use of flowers, especially carnations. I would have liked to have known why certain flowers are chosen for specific spells, but that’s a minor point. For those interested in magic and spells, this book is a worthwhile read.
