The Third Attempt

Rate this book
East meets West, and the meeting won't be pretty.

An intense, humorous international crime thriller, The Third Attempt races halfway around the globe from Washington D.C. to Tokyo, Phnom Penh to Phuket, Thailand, and through the streets of Kuala Lumpur.

U.S. trade diplomat Bill Carmichael is a model for American family values: He's a loving husband and doting father. He also wants a powerful figure dead. And there are plenty of men who will back him, including the target's own father. There's one catch: Carmichael must ensure that the contract killer never escapes Malaysia after the job's completion.

However, no one has considered the contract killer's reckless resolve to finish the botched assignment.

He's on the run, yet he's the only one in control.

I'm from Columbus, Ohio and attended Ohio University. After graduating with a degree in Linguistics, I did various jobs such as waiting tables and cleaning airplanes. I also once worked a polling station just to personally ward off hanging chads! Besides that, I was a voice actor for several campy kung-fu films, dubbing them into English, and a Nicholas Cage look-alike on a Thai television program. Since finishing my Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics, I've taught English both in the United States and Thailand. Currently live in northwest Ohio.
