[Siren Erotic BDSM Romance, sex toys, public exhibition] Whitney Elliott is on the hunt for a front page story about sex slaves and slave auctions when she sneaks in the back door of Esoteria. Overdressed to be a sub and doesn’t have the attitude to be a Domme, she finds herself trapped in a world she’d only read about. Taurus Green knows everything that goes on in his club and makes a point to meet every new guest within minutes of their arrival. He doesn’t know the cute little mouse wearing too many clothes and blushing at everything she sees. Could she be what he needs to cure his boredom with life? After catching the mouse, he offers her an option, him or the police. What will Whitney choose? Arrest and humiliation? Or punishment from the Master who caught her? **A Siren Erotic Romance
I always thought I had been born a hundred years too late, but I do appreciate air conditioning, computers and other conveniences of modern day living. I love the slower pace of New Bern, North Carolina as well as the history and small town community. Imagine a neighborhood where people wave at one another and keep eye out for the children. It's like living in the 1950s. In addition to dreaming up my next story, of which there are always two or three in the works, I enjoy reading everything from children’s books to romance to mysteries to vampire adventure, singing in my church choir and needle-weaving.
I love to hear from readers at coopermckenzie@ymail.com.
I liked this one, I didn't love it though. I didn't feel that there was much of a story.
Taurus is a Dom and part owner of Club Esoteria. Whitney is a journalist trying to uncover a story and a sub, but she doesn't know it. When Whitney sneaks into the club to find her story, she is caught by Master Taurus and he isn't willing to let her go.
What I loved: I loved Taurus' character. He is a kind and loving person and Dom in search of what his life has been missing--someone to share it with!
What didn't work for me: Whitney's character was a little flat. Being a sub doesn't mean no personality...maybe I just need more time with Whitney to love her character. I also wasn't thrilled with the fact that Whitney and Taurus fell in love at first sight...literally, at first sight! I might have been able to overlook the previously mentioned if there had been more to the story.
I plan to continue on with the series because I am enjoying the overall theme and really liking the characters for the most part.

Whitney Elliot is a struggling newspaper columnist. As the newest employee of New Burns’ one and only newspaper, she gets a little nervous when talk of cut backs circulates. Whitney currently writes obituaries and is looking for a story that will gain her recognition as an investigative reporter. After listening to the tip line, she has just heard what she thinks will be just what she needs to be recognized. “Club Esoteria is selling sex slaves.”
Taurus Green is co-owner of Club Esoteria; a private club known for those interested in the pursuit of private pleasures. Taurus is bored with the way things are going in his life lately and is looking for something new and different in his life. When a woman he hasn’t seen before enters the club by sneaking in through the back, catching his eye, he’s determined to find out who she is and what she’s doing in his club.
Although the story is a short one, it packs a powerful punch with the steamy sex scenes and overall story line. I couldn’t put it down. BDSM has always held my attention and this story did just that. The story is well written and sure to wet your appetite. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more titles by this author.
A newspaper columnist is on an investigative trail--it has been reported that a popular BDSM club is "selling" sex slaves. In the course of her efforts to do her research, she tries to "break in" to the club having been denied entrance because she was not a member. She meets the Master--one of the owners, and her "education" begins. Needless to say, he is quite "taken" with her and vice versa. It is a very enjoyable read and showcases the loving and caring as well as open communication of feelings and needs that are necessary for a good Dom/sub relationship.
Not particularly interesting, not particularly memorable, no conflict at all. Forgettable.
The main character is typically bland AND immediately turned on by what she, one day before, considered a total aberration -- worthy of being "exposed". And, more than that, she's immediately skilled and unique and special. And the Master falls in love with her immediately because ZOMG she's so unique!
I love reading a story where the characters only question the insanity of love a bit - and have fun getting there. This is one of those bound up with (pun intended) some intensely erotic and fun bondage and punishment. Along the way we build back some self- esteem that bad parents can cause and some simple sensual love.
I liked this short story and for most part liked the characters. The sex was smoking hot but the only thing that kept me from giving this story 5 *'s was that they both fell in love almost at first sight. Not very believable. Still liked the story.
Although this was a pretty good book I gave it 3 stars because it ended funny. It left a feel loose ends like what happened with Whitney's mother did she find out what happened with the story she wrote and what about her mentor Kim how did she know Taurus many unanswered questions.
3.5 stars - I like sweet stories, even if they are insta-love sometimes. This was definitely sweet with very little angst and not a lot of plot. Enjoyed it anyway!
