One of the best books I have ever read! Angela comes from a great perspective - a female minority who exposes how the seemingly generous policies of liberalism actually serve to keep minorities down. By "taking care" of minorities with programs, they actually make it easy for them not to fulfill their enormous potential. It buys their votes and keeps them poor. It's a pretty obvious strategy - since liberals rely so heavily on the poor to get elected, why would they implement programs that would actually raise people from poverty? She also points out how the Democrats have always used the African Americans - they were pro-slavery when Republicans wanted slavery banned, Democrats founded the Ku Klux Klan, and LBJ figured out that by putting programs in place he would get votes while simultaneously continuing to keep these groups in bondage. I highly recommend this book!

She has some pretty good points, although I don't agree with her stance on the minimum wage at all. As with any books involving politics, you have to be able to read through the propaganda and process what info is useful for you. Also, it always slows down the progress when you're reading a 4 year old book.
