Slim volume of performance poetry by Radio 4 darling Luke Wright. This is a fun collection of 13 comic ballads including 2 of my favourites: Another Grotty Holiday and Camping Dad. Sadly doesn't have the luck of the Brungers though.
The poems give you an insight into the world of a hip, funny and opinionated 20 something. Wonderfully accessible and a great introduction into the current poetry scene.
Sadly these are still just words on the page and don't have the vibrancy, LOL moments and adlibbing of his live performance. Definitely worth checking out however.
