Free kindle book. I knew most of the words in it, but the first chapter on roots of words was good, and the last chapter had a decent proportion of words I didn't know. However, some of the examples used to help define the words seemed a bit off (e.g., brownies were described as vapid). These examples, while probably technically correct usages of the words, seemed out of touch with the way that people actually use these words in speech and writing.
