Karen Whiddon spun fanciful tales for her younger brothers as early as the age of eleven. Growing up in the Catskill Mountains of New York, then the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, she found enough magic in the rugged peaks to keep her imagination fueled for years.

Now making her home in North Texas, she shares her life with her hero-like husband and three doting dogs. She writes paranormal tales for Harlequin Nocturne including the popular Pack series and romantic suspense stories for Harlequin Romantic Suspense.

Wild Wolf
Even though this is the next book in the series, it doesnt really have anything to do with the previous book at all. While I liked the book, I didnt enjoy it as much as the previous one.
Raven is happy to be a wolf, being human is horrible...but she cant hold onto her wolf form for long.
Simon is a Protector for the Society. He hunts down Feral werewolves, and has been nicknamed the Terminator. His new task is to track down a feral who is believed to have killed a human, and assess if she is a threat.
All seems to be just like a normal job...but things dont go like a normal job this time and Simon starts to question the Code he has always lived by and served.
Immortal Wolf
This part of the book actually follows people from the first book. Though tells the story of a different pair.
Emily is shunned by her pack, even though she just wanted to fit in, and has now been cursed. Her pack have called for the Kallan to end her life.
Raphael (the Kallan) has been called to end the life of a female. He is afraid as this will be the first female he has ever released to the Other Realm. Once he arrives things just seem to get worse. She isnt an older woman ready to cross over like he was told, but a young lady very unwilling to die.
Raphael must train Emily to be ready for the Other Realm, but has to fight to convince her to let him near her. The more Raphael learns both from Emily and from watching her pack, just gets more and more complicated. He doesnt want to kill her but if he doesnt then his brother will be killed in her place.
