Dreams Beyond Tomorrow tells of the trials of Rachel and Cole Lord and their life in Oregon as they try to build a life there. What started as an unusual relationship grew into a loving couple. A good read.

As with the other books I've read by Bacher, I started off loving this one, but lost the magic about 2/3 of the way through.

Why the heck does the protagonist NEVER take care of her own child? It drove me nuts throughout the whole book. Who cares about the kid you adopted, just ride off into the mountains without checking on her, go visit friends without getting a sitter, etc.
