A colourful book with different objects. Daughter is able to breeze through the book but prefers I read it aloud to her. Great way to build vocabulary for little ones.

Got this from the library, and got stuck on a couple of words while reading to my 3-year-old. A bit embarrassing. The pictures are great, and the book is sturdy and has lots of color and good contrast, but Q for "quoits" is a bit of a stretch if you ask me!
I'm thinking this wasn't published in the US. I had to explain "yolk," "jelly tart," "abacus," and "yacht." I just skipped "quoits" and had to spend some time researching it later.
