The Marvel Adventures line is always a good time. It's easy to pick up and read an issues without getting bogged down in tons of continuity. This is a fun retelling of the Venom story.
A mostly enjoyable kid-friendly retelling of Spider-Man's black costume (that becomes Venom). Here, the black costume is a "stealth suit" the Tinkerer develops, and Spider-Man steals. There are a couple funny moments in this revamp. After Spidey dons the black suit, everyone thinks he's a different hero. Also, the Human Torch tries to wear the black suit, only to have it hate his flames.
Reprints Marvel Adventures: Spider-Man #21-24. Spider-Man battles the Tinkerer, Green Goblin, Hobgoblin, Sandman, and Venom when gaining a new black costume. Simple kid friendly "classic" Marvel stories. This story arch is a little unique in the Marvel Adventures Universe in the fact that there is an overlying story arc for the 4 issues.
