A great series suffering from some terrible artwork, the meta plot (and the comics's a devoted fans) helped carry Hack/Slash through this dark time.

I expected H/S's foray into superhero comics to be disastrous, but this wasn't too bad. It takes the superhero thing seriously, but not too seriously to give us some good gags. And the villain works out to make the thing a H/S book and not a superhero book. This is another solid volume.
