I liked this story. Excited to read the next one after the ending. I became very interested when the potential bad news of marguerite being betrothed to an old man came up. And then the suspense of Juliet trying to catch agabus. By the time all that was over the story was tying up ice and quickly to an ending that makes you excited for the next one. Only not 5 stars because the beginning was slightly boring but it picked up fast. And was a pretty short book and an intro is necessary to set the story.

This was an enjoyable older children's book. I liked the main character and the falcon.

I liked this one a bit better than the other one I read (Shannon from 1880).

I enjoyed the falconry details and a snippet of middle age life. I didn't notice anywhere in the story where it states Juliet's age. Appreciated the themes of honesty, loyalty, love of family, admitting fault. Quick, cute story.
