After reading about what life for Juliet became when she moved to a manor with marguerite I got bored. The story felt incomplete and like parts were missing when it actually got going. I felt like it was abbreviated and needed to be longer with more detail. I liked the informative afterword the best.

England, 1340. Juliet thought that being a lady's maid at court would be fun. Instead she finds she barely has time to talk with her best friend "Lady D'Arsy" and Lady Enid won't stop insisting that she knows what's best for everyone. Then Juliet learns that Lady Enid's family is in trouble, should she try to find a way to help?

Readers who enjoyed the Kai series or the American Girl series, will enjoy this series too.
