Plagued features the wizard, Jackson Spey, who also appeared in Cemetery Dancer. The one thing Adin wants more than warm blood and hot sex is to find the vampire who viciously murdered his parents. The one thing Celia wants more than an exciting one-night stand is to settle happily into her new home at the edge of a northern forest. After hooking up at a club, they fully satisfy each other's immediate needs. But "immediate" stretches into long-term when Celia is captivated by her sexy vampire lover and Adin senses this not-so-ordinary woman can bring him peace.A threat neither anticipated causes Adin to call his friend, Jackson Spey, for help. The wizard takes them back to where Adin was both born and birthed and has only revisited in his nightmares — fourteenth century, plague-torn England. Horrific as it is, this journey into the past may be Adin's and Celia's only route to overcoming the vampire threat that hangs over them.Reader Advisory: Plagued contains hot m/m/f sex as well as explicit descriptions of the Black Plague.

Wow - it's been a long time since I've read anything with a m/f pairing and I have to admit I even liked it. I read it because I wanted more of Adin and Jackson who I discovered in a small role in Fugly. They drew my attention right away and that's how I ended up reading this.

I have a total crush on Adin and then when you add Jackson into the mix it just = hot. I even came to like Celia and not mind the het sex so much but in the end I just wanted Adin to be with Jackson. The plot was interesting and different and I really liked the different aspects of Adin's vampirism. Can't wait to read the next one and I think KZ knows what pairing I'm hoping to get more of in the books to come.
