They care for each other and they love each other... but Yukihisa starts to feel a little distant from Mamoru. He doesn't say anything and he doesn't even try to explain... and Yukihisa doesn't know how to fix this broken relationship...
This was a cute one shot yaoi book. I love Kai Asou drawings. This is a story of two guys that have grown up together since the meet in 1st grade. When they are in high school Takashi starts keeping at least 1m between him and his friend Yukihisa. This bothers Yukihisa and he keeps trying to find out why Takashi is keeping his distance. The first chapter or two is Yukihisa trying to find out why.
What I liked about this book was the friendship and how much these two care for each other. Even the friends think it is odd when these two are apart since they have been together all those years. Same class room, same soccer team, and really good friends.
If you are a yaoi fan and like sweet stories this is one I would recommend.
The seme was annoying, with all his insecurities about the difference of height between him and the uke. I mean, he was distant ONLY because the uke was taller! And he would not come any closer until HE was taller.
Their lack of communication after they were in a relationship was so silly. I can't even remember their names. NOT cool at all.
In the beginning it's a little silly, but overall this was a very good story about two friends falling in love when they're still students and staying together forever (at least that's the plan). I loved the art and I loved how real this felt.
This is a cute friends to lovers story. We follow two boys in high school, Takashi and Yukihisa. They have been friends for years, and have been trying to bridge the gap between friends and lovers for a while now. Unfortunately, Takashi does want to love a boy who's taller than him. Can they overcome their differences and find love? I really liked this story. I will say the drama in the beginning was a bit silly. I didn't like that Takashi didn't want to date him because he was an inch shorter than him. But high school boys are weird. Overall, I still liked this and would recommend it if you want a simple cute BL read.
The story follows how two high school seniors who have been best friends for years finally admit their feelings and handle their personal issues alongside graduating and starting college. Between Asou-sensei's artwork and the story I found enjoyment in reading. The story itself isn't completely brand new and actually deals with the seme/tall vs uke/short theme that prevails most BL manga but in a unique way.
Takashi starts to put some distance between him and his best friend, Yukihisa, and we're not given a reason why because its told from Yukihisa's pov. This slight push away from his best friend however pushes Yukihisa to realize that he has stronger feelings for his best friend than would seem normal so when Takashi finally confesses that the reason he's been pushing him away is because he feels that he must be taller than Yukihisa to be worthy of confessing, Yukihisa realizes he loves Takashi as well.
The story is simple and the tall/short issue is used for a bit of humor between the pair after Takashi's confession but what I enjoying seeing was the uke of the pair desire the relationship in all its aspects the same as the seme which is something that is left out or outright handled badly in many other BL manga. Once their relationship is in full swing, Yukihisa starts to pester Takashi about why they haven't had sex yet. And the idea that both sides want the same things from each other when they get down to it was a refreshing theme from beginning to end.
