Tony Abbott

He has sold over 12 million copies of his books and they have been translated into several other languages, including Italian, Spanish, Korean, French, Japanese, Polish, Turkish, and Russian. He has also written the bestseller Firegirl.
Abbott was born in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1952. His father was a university professor and had an extensive library of books which became one of Abbott's first sources of literature. When he was eight years old, his family moved to Connecticut where he went through elementary school and high school.
Abbott attended the University of Connecticut, and after studying both music and psychology, decided to study English and graduated from the University of Connecticut with a bachelor's degree in English literature. He attended the workshops of Patricia Reilly Giff to further develop his writing after college.
Abbott currently lives in Trumbull, Connecticut, with his wife, two daughters, and two dogs. Tony had one brother and two sisters.

I've decided to read The Secrets of Droon series entirely for Christmas since i've been feeling a bit nostalgic. I want to be able to live a bit of the magic of being a kid and what beeter to help than this incredible series. I know that this series is for young kids but i feel it will still be great after all these years.
A wonderful ending to this series. It is a great book that ties together many places in Droon and the Upper World as well as many characters that we have come to know. This is one of the best books of the series in which action, mystery, magic, frienship, love, adventure and more abound in every page. I really loved this book and its happy, heartwarming and magical ending. Everything ends neatly, well almost neatly.
Overall the series is great for kids and adults that are kids at heart. It is a long series with many adventures but all well worth it. You meet all kinds of wonderful and interesting characters that you will learn to love, well not all of them. The characters grow and are developed really well. Its imagination and magic are out of this world. It is an amazingly magical series that I am glad to have read again and experienced its secrets, magic, and wonder. It does not disappoint at all. I recommend it to any one who has young children and love magic and fantasy.

I read this book so I could finally know how the series ended, I started these books when I was in third or fourth grade, but I grew up a lot faster than they were written so I ha to come back to at least see the end. It is a good series for the audience it is going for.

بعضی پایان ها اونقدر خوبن که دلت می خواد بری نویسنده رو بغل کنی و کلی ازش تشکر کنی که انقدر خوب همه چیز رو جمع و جور کرده. و پایان این کتاب هم... عالی بود.
حتماً توصیه می کنم اگر بین سوم تا ششم دبستان هستین این مجموعه رو از دست ندین. مفاهیم شیرینی توش داره که واقعاً برای اون سن مناسب و تاثیر گذاره.
این مجموعه بود که منو کتاب خون کرد؛ توی پس زمینه ذهنم همیشه به اریک و جولی و نیل مدیون بودم و همچنین به تونی ابت. برای من که تقریباً شونزده ساله م، دوباره خوانی جلد های اول که خط به خطشون رو حفظ شده بودم حوصله سر بر بود ولی داستان از مجموعه ی پنجم و ششم به بعد روند منظم و منسجم تری به خودش گرفت؛ طوری که انگار نویسنده بعد از مجموعه ی سوم (جلد های 11 تا 15) تازه فهمیده که دقیقاً میخ واد با مجموعه ش چیکار کنه. و انصافاً، نتیجه خوبی هم گرفت.
یه داستان کودکان بی نظیر؛ واقعاً بی نظیر چون فکر نمی کنم هیچ نویسنده ای برای خلق یه داستان کودک، چنین فضای عظیمی خلق کنه و این همه رمز و راز رو در نظر بگیره تا در موقع مناسب، ازشون گره گشایی کنه. کاری که نویسنده انجام داد... خیلی فراتر از یه مجموعه داستان کودکان بود و همینه که معتقدم می تونه هر کودکی رو مجذوب خودش بکنه. درس اخلاقی هم زیاد بود توی داستان:دی به صورت کاملاً نا محسوس فداکاری و از خودگذشتگی، خانواده، بخشش، مهربانی، دوستی و از این قبیل مسائل توی ماجرا های داستان گنجونده شده ن.
یه بار دیگه، خوندنش رو به همه کودکان توصیه می کنم:)
+ اگر هم این مجموعه رو سال ها قبل شروع کردین و می ترسین با خوندن جلدای تازه چاپ شده ش خوابتون ببره، توصیه میکنم بیخیال ترستون بشین و ادامه ی مجموعه رو هم بخونین. مجموعه های هفتم به بعد (جلد 31 تا 35) خیلی هیجان انگیز تر هستن:)

umm i think this book is interesting and fun for children that like fantasy, imagination, magic and adventure! but i didn't really get to read the book i only read the special edition #7.I am finding the other droon book at bookstore like umm 'Popular' and many else but I find it so hard to find the book.I really wish i had all droon
collection! and here i am for a favour.I hope you guys could help me to find the other droon books! umm just read online is enough and of course I want it to be full.THANKS !

Lincolns fav secrets of droon book- he loved this series in 1st/2nd grade.
