Come and take a magical journey with two sisters who embark on a hike through the woods and explore the wonders of a hidden stream. From their journey they notice all the beautiful, intriguing sights of nature and the many animals that depend and are nourished from the source of life.
The book is meant to inspire and excite our young about the powerful gift of nature in hopes that they will one day become the future stewards of our wonderful environment and to empower them to explore and learn about hiking and outdoor activities.
The book is narrated by one of the two sisters who sees nature differently and is based on an actual hike through one of Southern California's hiking trails. It is a good read for all ages and is unique in that the story is illustrated using actual photography to bring out the real dynamic beauty of nature in the way that only a camera can.
Children of today will be the leaders of tomorrow and will determine how beautiful our forest, lakes and streams remain. Hopefully this book will inspire them.
