This book is an interesting read for one who is seeking understanding about what we call the ego. You learn that it's stages of developing the ego and how to mature it. The process of development and maturity. To gain maturity it requires work through mediation. To achieve complete ego maturity is "love" the ability to identify with others become sensitive to something other than yourself. Having total bliss. Being no-thing no longer separated from God coming to complete oneness. All religions has one objective to bring its believers to the realization there is one consciousness (One God) and to experience the state of oneness.

Hadn't heard of this Master Teacher in a neo-Sikh path. It was good to see it broadening African-American religious teachings regarding this perspective.
