Life lessons in short stories
I was so lucky to be a winner of this book from Goodreads. I was a little skeptical at first, since I am not a huge short-story fan, but Donley won me over! The way he addressed real life situations and problems with wit and humor was impressive. His ability to be sensitive to touchy topics but still express his beliefs through the characters was impressive. A must-read that will leave you with a new outlook on your own life.

I LOVE Short Stories
I won a Kindle copy of this book on Goodreads.com. I think I've set a new record, for the FASTEST I've ever read a book!!!!! I didn't just READ it, I deVOURED it! Loved every single story! A rarity when there are a collection of stories in one book.

Mixed bag
The first few were rough, but the last three stories were quite enjoyable. Payoff reads a bit like the continued adventures of the Ghost of Christmas Present, which was fun. Colorfool was probably the standout of the collection... Though I do love me a good spelling bee so I may be biased.

Mildly interesting over all, there's maybe one or two gems here. Took me a few days to read as I kept falling back asleep.
