One of the challenges for the book club, was to read a book based only by the cover. So I found this book (unfortunately I could not find the correct cover in the goodreads.com data base) with a lovely cover, displaying a lonely figure crossing a bridge in a distance. All in unrealistic purple colours... with the words "deja vu" written across the page.
I love the idea of "what if" situation. What if we could go back in time? Would we change anything? What secrets would we discover? What friendships would be made? And which ones lost?
This is happens to Annie and Marc. A couple on a verge of separation, who at the beginning of the story die in a car accident leaving their teenage son behind. Their deaths take them back twenty years to their first meeting.
Thus history change. Dark secrets are reviled. Will they stay together for the sake of their unborn son? Will they take other paths? Will they change their relationship making it stronger? Will they learn how to forgive? Will they learn from their parents mistakes?
The story line is very interesting. It's full of ups and downs of a married couple who were given second chance of life and love.

Da hat Susan Fraser ein wahrlich außerordentlich gutes Buch geschrieben. Ich habe es gar nicht mehr aus Hand legen können, so spannend und aufregend war es, Annie und Marc dabei zu begleiten, wie ihre Beziehung entstand und sie nun – mit neuem Anfang – versuchen, ihrer Liebe eine neue Wendung zu geben. Ich habe so sehr bei jedem Fehltritt mitgelitten und bei jedem kleinen Erfolgserlebnis lächeln müssen – die beiden sind einfach so herzerwärmend und liebevoll. Nachdem ich fertig war, habe ich noch einige Zeit über den Ausgang nachdenken müssen und war völlig meiner Sinne beraubt.

İt is something different for me.Like it,especially the character returned to past and understand life,also know about her husband betray.
