Veterinarian Don Ragland says he’s not a theologian, but his experiences with the living, loving third person of the Trinity have taught thousands of men and women how to draw closer to the Holy Spirit. Now The Holy A Layman’s Perspective, Ragland develops what started as Sunday school lessons, then workshops and seminars, into a simple, profound, and powerful introduction to the Holy Spirit. Using insight, personal examples, and biblical truth, he and his wife, Jackie, help all who long to know the power of God in their everyday lives.
Finally, someone writes a book about the Holy Spirit that doesn't go psycho! This is a very well-written, easy to understand book. There's not a lot of hype in it; some personal experience is included to let people know where he's coming from, but overall, it's just a good, systematic coverage of who the Holy Spirit is, what He has done in Scripture, what He's doing now, and what He wants to do in the believer's life.
