This is a weird one. I've never seen anything quite like this in terms of format. Maybe this type of book is popular in France, where this book was written but I've never seen anything like it.

The format is my biggest quibble by far, because actually, this book contains a lot of great information, especially in the Appendices. There is a ton of interesting history and facts about the place, past and present.

I enjoyed reading it but not at all sure who this is aimed at or what the point of the format is.

A nice and fun survey of what collections the Louvre has to offer. Nothing was left out in terms of highlighted works of art, but what disappointed me the most were the mistakes in printing with the majority of the games. Most of them were useless, even with many having incorrect information related to the answers. It was obvious this edition was printed too quickly with little editing to make it accurate and deliver what is promised. If you want a nice general survey of the collections in the Louvre then you will not be disappointed, but as for the games aspect, it falls short.
