Rate this book
Having witnessed the brutal rape and murder of her mother, Myah Johnson is found frightened and alone in the closet of a Bronx apartment. After being adopted by her mother's only sister, she tries to live a normal life, but the nightmares are constant reminders of what happened that fatal night. Her mother's murder was never solved, so she vows to find the person responsible. But when Myah unexpectly sees a picture of the man she believes murdered her mother 12 years earlier, she devises a plan that sets into motion a series of events that she hopes will ultimately satisfy her need for justice. Overcome by the sheer desire for revenge, she keeps her friends close, and her enemies even closer. But when she seeks the assistance of those close to her, she realizes that no one can be trusted. Myah knows that she can't let go of the past and what goes around comes around, but justice is nothing if she can't even the score! The question remains, will Myah let it go, or will she handle it Tit

It was a cool read. I was looking for more from some of the characters. I felt like u was being left hanging on some of the things going on. Well I guess that's why I need to read part 2 to see what I'm looking for.

I really enjoyed this book!.... I was in a readers block when i started reading this book, but happy i was given this book to read as a part of a book club activity. I had had this book for awhile but just didnt get to it and im happy i did! The story was really enjoyable and flowed very well it took us back to when Myah was a child all the way to when Myah was a teenager. Myah is on a mission and wont stop until she completes it. Join her as she grows up and tries to discover what happened to her mother when she was just a young child. Myah learns the importance of keeping your friends close but your enemies closer!! I recommend that other people read this book!

Tit $ Tat was a definite page turner that I just didn't want to put down. It started with heartbreak and drama and ended with even more drama. I loved the characters and the way the author bought each of them to life. The story line was unique, engaging, unpredictable, never boring and very movie-like. Unfortunately, I felt like there were a lot of events that indicated that the "big, knock your socks off bang" was coming....but it never actually came. I was in a hurry to get to the end to find out what was going to happen and what Mya's plans were and when I got there I still didn't know. Overall, I enjoyed the book and I'm hoping to get the info that I'm looking for in part 2.
