I quite enjoyed the book. It was an easy read but I feel it could have had more depth to it. Some good characters which could have been extended somewhat to give the book more oomph! It seemed that just as things were heating up - the book finished!

This story is borderline 3 star. It was just okay, some of the story did not ring true to me and seemed a bit exagerated and did not really suit the chacaters. This is more than a story about Georgie Mair and her three loves, John her first husband who died young, Charlie her second husband who resued her from death and turned out to be nothing like Georgie thought he would be and Bill her third bite of the Cherry. It is also about her parents Chrissy & Tam, her brother Tom and his wife Bridget, her ugly sister Lena and her squeeze Hamish and to a lesser degree her older sister Mary.

This is a good story that shows although bad things can happen as long as you have faith they will turn out all right in the end
