I'm borrowing this series from a friend who introduced me to manga in middle school. This series is so silly and genuinely funny. It tells the antics of high school freshman and their adventures at an all-girl Japanese school. I started watching the anime and it just highlighted the humor and tone even better. My favorites are Eriko and Himeji. These girls are ridiculous.
