Lola was the love of my life. Then one night everything changed. I woke up in the hospital to find she was gone without a trace.

Grumpy Aftertaste is a standalone novella with lots of heated tension, fun banter, and a sweet HEA. Some strong language, but no triggers.

Can’t stand the MC and in need of some editing

While the book would benefit from being reviewed by an editor, the grammatical errors, while distracting, were not what bothered me the most. Some sentences didn’t make sense and I feel some paragraphs were too repetitive but I could have managed to get past that.

What bothered me the most is Bennett. As a romance reader, I enjoy most trope and second chance/secret baby is definitely up my alley. And in the present circumstances, I could completely understand Bennett’s anger and resentment. But having a MC pop up and threaten to take away a woman’s kids for revenge just because he has the money for it is a hard limit for me. I just can’t accept that type of behavior and so we were off to a rough start.

I can’t say I was the biggest fan of Lola either or anyone for that matter. While it’s a novella, it still felt rushed and a lot was glossed over and/or resolved faster than i was expecting.

Disappointed to say the least.

Such a fitting name for this book. I really enjoyed Bennett and Lola's story. The drama starts from the first chapter and carries right through to the end. It's a story of second chances and never giving up on the one you love. I loved the possessiveness of Bennett. He's the alpha male who knew what he wanted and wasn't going to take no for an answer. In reality, that can come off very negatively and dangerous, but it worked well in the book. Lola is the protective motherhen who won't let her herself or their children be bought by him. Their personalities such very well together and made the chemistry that much hotter. Such a good read!

Bennett and Lola had a relationship, but they didn't work out. That was before Lola knew that she was pregnant and she has been caring for their daughters without Bennett knowing. When he finds out, he is more determined than ever to reunite with Lola. She is less sure that they should actually be together and is very protective of her children. Bennett is also very alpha and wants to take care of what he has determined to be his own to take care of and that includes Lola. Can they see their way through the trauma of the past to build a future together?

Lola and Bennett have a history and it didn't end well. Since then, Bennett has been looking for Lola and is stunned to see that she had his daughters. Bennett wants to be a family and starts making changes in his life to do just that. Can he convince Lola to take a chance on him again?

This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

This is a very nice and sweet love story featuring Bennett and Lola. They had a relationship that didn’t work out. She flees before figuring out she’s pregnant. She lives her life, taking care of their two daughters without him knowing. He never stopped looking for her. When he finds out he is surprised and even more determined to reunite and live like a family. She’s not so sure and is very very protective of her children. The book is well written, the characters are likable. I recommend this easy read.

When Bennett finally finds her, he finds out what she has been hiding, and he is determined to convince her to give them another chance. This is a well written story which has secrets, family, passion, drama, emotions, second chances, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining page turner.

Tasty As Sin

This is a free prequel to the book that gives you insight where Bennett and Lola met, started a fling and the moment it turned into something and when she needed him most one text shattered their lives. I enjoyed it, I always love when I get to know the characters back story. This is a quick fast read.

Takes place a couple years after the prequel. A good enjoyable conclusion to their story! Love the interaction and banter between them. A fast quick read for me.

This book was great. He was a family man and he was very tempted by a sexy younger woman. He try to hide his feeling for her but it writing all over his face. But he love his children. But he need to choice between them or he will lose in the process. It was steamy and romance. I couldn't believed what happen at the end. This author did a great job of where it took place.
