Gregory Adams' short fiction combines the tropes of horror, science fiction, comedy, and drama, resulting in a unique take on familiar themes. In his stories, you'll find zombies, demons, aliens and otherworldly horrors, but they may make you laugh as often as they make your skin crawl, and you will sometimes experience both sensations simultaneously. In writing his stories, Gregory seeks to achieve the unsettling ambiance of Robert Aikman and the nerve-rattling tension of Stephen King, with the satirical touches of Mark Leyner or Ambrose Bierce.
Gregory Adams was born and raised in Hingham, Massachusetts, and many of his stories take place in the New England towns and cities he has come to know well. He majored in Small Animal Science at Norfolk County Agricultural High School and worked as a veterinary technician for many years. He graduated from Massachusetts College of Art Studio for Interrelated Media (SIM) with a degree in Media and Performing Arts. After college, he worked as General Manager at the Center for Latino Arts in Boston's South End. He returned to the profession of animal care and now owns a successful dog walking and pet sitting service in the Boston Area. Gregory lives in Norwood with his wife Cheryl and their young daughter, who is an aspiring writer herself.
