What a great cookie cookbook! I really enjoyed the large variety of recipes along with the different options for those to make one focused on kids or even the holidays. I look forward to making all the recipes I saved in the future.
I bought this at a Re-sale shop. (25-cents. I think I overpaid)
I've flipped through it, and marked 2 recipes. (both of which I already have)
I'm not terribly impressed with this cookbook. It's not sure if it's a Coffee-table book or a cookbook. It has thick paper (like moisten your fingers to be sure you've not skipped a page)
There's some recipes in here that I wondered, "Why? Why would you do *that?*" For example, the Jam sandwich cookies on the front; inside the recipe calls to cover the jam in mini-M&M chocolate candies.
The positive is it's large-print writing, and colourful pictures. It might be okay for 9 or 10 year olds, just beginning to bake; that's about it.
Most of the recipes you can find in any other cookie/squares book, or on the back of a can, box, or package.
In all honesty, it's a book that's trying too hard to be something special. (So, I've donated it to the local library)

I really love to bake and found this book to be a nice edition to my cookbooks. It has hundreds of cookie recipes and the accompanying photos are nice. I got a lot of new ideas from this book.
