This book was just ok, the presentation and examples were good. My biggest problem with the book is that it was published in 2004, which means it is about 12 years old in terms of computer book ages. So I have started reading "Beginning PHP and MySQL - From Novice to Professional."

I guess I see which one is better.

Awesome book. I still refer to this as a PHP manual and guidebook after years of owning it. Priceless work. I recommend having the paper edition to quickly flip through and find the function you're looking for.
