Wow and Wow and Wow! What a fabulous debut by a new author!
Got Mistletoe? was a sweet and charming story that left me with a crazy grin on my face. There is no conflict. No mystery. No big misunderstanding. Just loads of fun and lots of holiday spirit. The author's style is very descriptive and her characters are realistic. I was able to relate to both Blake and Ryan in the small amount of time I got to know them. (This book is only 54 pages!) But mostly, I was thrilled with the dialogue. Everyone knows I'm a dialogue-kind-of-girl and there is plenty of it in this book. Very well written. :)
And I have to mention that I LOVE the cover on this one!

This story is a fabulous quick little romance that's just perfect as a holiday read. Ryan is a 23 year cutie working in a department store when he meets Blake. Seven years older Blake is a handsome man who with his bigger build and sexy dark hair and blue eyes is Ryan's preferred type. Immediately attracted to each other they form a quick yet very sweet and romantic attachment.
I really loved both men and although the story takes place in a matter of just a few days I found myself totally engaged with them and their relationship. No angst, no hidden surprises or ex's to get in the way, this is just a lovely story about two men meeting, realizing their mutual attraction and quickly acting on it. This story has a very strong HFN ending and leaves the reader with a sense that the future will bring a HEA for these two wonderfully written characters.
This is the first story by this author that I've read and I look forward to reading more. Loved it and highly recommend it.

Got Mistletoe? Is a sweet and cozy story filled with plenty of Christmas wishes and holiday cheer. When Ryan and Blake first meet there is an instant attraction and emotional pull between them. Ryan has been down on his luck for some time. Even though he has his share of bad luck, he continues to have an optimistic attitude and a cheery disposition that is contagious to anyone who is around him.
Blake is a wonderful hero. He’s a hard working man who is responsible and reliable and downright sexy! Although he has had many successes with his career, and has a solid relationship with his family, he hasn’t had much luck when it comes to meeting Mr. Right and falling in love.
That changes the moment he meets Ryan. Ryan’s joyful disposition and bubbly attitude instantly draws Blake in like honey to a bee.
I loved this story. Ryan and Blake were great characters, both whom I really cared about. I’ve heard from reliable sources that she plans to continue their story. I sincerely hope she does!

Has the stress and hectic pace of the holiday season got you down? Are you feeling a bit more bah humbug Scrooge than joyful Buddy the Elf? Do you need a good dose of holiday spirit?
Got Mistletoe? is a delightful, sweet, heartwarming, and romantic story that’s sure to provide some holiday cheer, inspiration, and a reminder that human connection and love are the reasons we get up every day and why the holiday season is a such a perfect time to celebrate that with those we love.
For such a short story, I was impressed by the level of details that give real insight into Blake and Ryan’s characters and made their immediate emotional connection and fast developed relationship believable, heartfelt, touching, and hot. I hope to see a follow up story about Blake and Ryan to find out where life takes these devoted lovers in the future.
Here are a couple of my favorite lines:

Last night I was in the mood for a sweet and romantic Christmas story. Reading ,Got Mistletoe?, satisfied that need and then some!
Ryan and Blake are sexy and interesting heroes. I can honestly say I really liked both of them. They were definitely made for each other, and the chemistry between them was intense from the moment they first met.
I loved this book and I hope she writes more about this couple. They were fabulous!

When Blake Roberts decides to pops into a store to get some wrapping paper – a cute elfish man falling into his arms was not part of the plan. Blake is immediately taken with Ryan Jolly the staff having more than a little of the Christmas spirit bouncing around in him.
Blake wants to make an impression on his family this year and on his list of must do is to sort out some decent Christmas wrapping paper – once he was in the Supercenter however he ends up being totally distracted by the butt sashaying in front of him so coming up to bins and bins of wrapping paper was just a bit of an overload for him. He decides to kill two birds with one stone – get some help in choosing some papers and keep Ryan around a little longer until he can come up with a game plan of how to ask him out.
One look at the customer needing help and Ryan was a goner – stunned into silence he can only thank his co-worker for saving him from further embarrassment. When Blake ask for his help in choosing some paper he can’t help but do a mental jump, as it gives him a little more time with this big hunk of a man. Ryan is not holding out much hope that the man in question is feeling the same lusty feelings that he is and so makes the most of the few minutes he gets to spend with Blake.
Blake knows a good thing when he sees it and feels it as well and although not an impetuous person when he gets a little help in how to make his first move he jumps at it like a drowning man. Ryan is pleased as punch when Blake makes his move but with confidence issues and other concerns he might just be the dead of Blake before he gets the chance to pleasure Blake.
Who would have thought that buying Christmas wrapper could be a whole new erotic experience – Andi Anderson certainly thinks so. GOT MISTLETOE? Is Ms. Anderson first outing and I am loving it.
Blake and Ryan are not only cute but two fun guy that are caught up in the first blush of instant attraction and I love this feeling that Ms. Anderson brings about in this short read.

A seasonal read for me should be fair to short and at 54 pages this was just the right length for me.
Blake and Ryan comes alive under Anderson’s pen, Blake feels more like alpha male and with the attitude to match it, so it was all about protecting “his little elf” and making sure he was seeing to his every comfort. Ryan on the other hand was just a pleasure and he kept a constant smile on my face, he’s a happy lad and in very few scenes does he have a frown and even when he does it only for a few minutes, Ryan is that guy you can’t help but love despite yourself.
Awareness, and wanting was nicely done in this book – I felt like I was looking over their shoulders watching a match light – and I was so ready for that fire.
I thought the author introduced me to two pretty decent guys with no issues clouding the waters and their only concern was getting together and making it as painless as possible. This was all about them and that always is a refreshing change to read.
Bottom line
As a first book, Anderson shoots out of the stable with a definite crowd pleaser. I am not the easiest of reader to please and I will admit I did not get enough skin in this one – but hey that's just me, but I like it, I liked it a lot if truth be told and who says the holiday has to be all about the smut.
Anderson has a nice descriptive style about her and I like the rush the book had – It didn’t slow down at all and I found this played a huge part in how I felt about these guys need to be together.
If you are looking for a book with everyday personalities, getting along in a setting you can relate to and with a pretty nice slouch of kisses, hugs and exploration tossed in, GOT MISTLETOE? is so the book for you..

I totally agree with everything Erotic Horizon said in her review. I'm giving it 5 stars because I simply adored Ryan. Ryan is the type of hero I love to read about. Sweet, bubbly and sexy! He's a nice guy that actually finished first! Whoop! Whoop!
Hopefully Andi has more books coming out soon. I can't wait to read more from her.

I adored this sweet Christmas story, and I particularly adored Ryan. He's so darn cute with his freckles and red hair and upbeat personality. And Blake was the perfect hero for him - strong, handsome and the type of guy who wants nothing more than to take care of Ryan, and cherish him, forever. This is definitley a story that will leave a smile on your face.

Just a little too instalovey and sweet for me. I adored Ryan, he was really adorable and I loved being in his head. If it had been a little longer or maybe the protestations love didn't happen so fast I think I would have enjoyed it more. It was cute, quick Christmas read though.

What a funny and charming little story; I stumbled across Andi Anderson's blog in which she mentioned Got Mistletoe? and I immediately headed off and bought it.
Blake and Ryan are two very different men, on the surface anyway. But like so many of us, all they really want is to be loved and to love. This is a delightful romance that left my heart singing.
What a treat.... Oh! And I would LOVE to revisit these two any time!

Reading this right after reading Yummy Indulgences I noticed a lot of similarities. It got annoying after a while, so I dropped my rating on this.

What he finds is the bouncy, flamboyant, elfin Ryan Jolly singing and dancing to some Christmas tunes. Despite being total opposites, Blake is immediately smitten with Ryan and Ryan is totally taken with Blake.
This is a cute story about insta-love at a supercenter store. It's extra sweet with a side of frosting ... in other words, sickly sweet for some. The attraction is immediate, mutual, and blazing hot. There is no tension, no angst, no nothin' except some sweet lovin' between Blake and Ryan. The MCs were really likeable and I enjoyed them despite the lack of any angst or tension.
Bottom line: a super sweet (but too sweet for some) holiday insta-love treat.

Holiday stories should be sweet, but Ryan’s red hair, freckles, bouncy personality, antlers with bells, and positive outlook was sweetness overload. I had to brush and floss after reading this.

Overall
I hate saying it but, "Don't waste your money." That was my first reaction.
However, books I don't like I give the benefit of the doubt and re-read. So I sat down and started reading it again--it's not too long, so not big deal. Immediately I thought I had misjudged this book on first read: the beginning isn't bad. Okay, it wasn't amazing writing or anything, but it was cute and fun and acceptable. My rank when up to a 2 or 3.
And then I hit chapter 5.
In chapter 5, the switching PoVs go from changing after several pages to changing every paragraph, just about. Annoying (and odd) but bearable. But the writing takes a sharp turn for the worse as the character's emotions are stated outright, the dynamic of the characters is forced (the characters would go well together, but they felt forced because they both had an OMG feeling toward the other), and cliched writing becomes unbearable.
If you want a story about two men who fall in love immediately, face no challenges and are written poorly, then you might enjoy this.

Ryan has to work hard to make ends meet and when he sees Blake for the first time he's almost overwhelmed by his attraction. Blake feels the same way and within a few days the men become close and decide to start dating.
The caring and tenderness between the two was heartwarming. I loved how Bake wanted to protect Ryan without being overbearing and how Ryan was ready to make Blake's life more lively with his indomitable spirit and optimism.

Complete binge fluff holiday book. Lots of sweet insta love, that was a bit much, but it is well written. I wavered between 2 and 3 stars and if the fluff were cut back a smidge it would have been a solid 3. I liked the characters a lot and while I'm usually not thrilled when stories want to hug me too much I seem to totally forgive the Christmas stories that do.

Absolutely adorable. Even though it's a short story, the author was able to create rich and colorful characters. If this Book doesn't put you in the Christmas spirit, then you are the Grinch.

Ryan is a really sweet guy, all Christmas joy and pink cheek. At 23 years old he is working as a salesman since basically, I believe, he likes to be among people. If one wants to be grumpy, probably you can say that Ryan is not exactly a man driven by ambition, he is probably a man that would be content to find a boyfriend and play house for the rest of his life.
So yes, it’s probably a good thing that he finds Blake, 30 years old and successful at his construction business, but who still is, deep inside, a family guy. Blake is handsome, old fashioned and gay. He has the instinct to be one to provide for his family, to one to bring to bread at home, he is basically a protective man. Really, he is the perfect match for Ryan, like the missing piece of a puzzle.
Everything is perfect, nice, sweet and warm in this story, the perfect seasonal tale that probably would be the perfect read in front of a fireplace. There is no angst, just a touch of too much sugar to leave you the feeling of a tale, but not too make the story unrealistic, and obviously also a right dose of sex, since, well, even if in a fairy tale with Ryan who seems more an elf than a fairy (no pun intended) and Blake who is perfect in the role of prince charming, this is, after all, the story of two young guys in love.

uurgh, i hate it.
it felt like it was written by 10 years old kid as a homework. the whole story is not only stupid, because i am sorry but did they really fall in love at first sight and started planning their future together after two days?! but it is just extremely BORING. the same writting style can be found in books to learn english, just to show the proper use of past tenses. there is absolutely nothing left for imagination, all they are doing is staring, talking, eating and kissing.

In 43 pages, "sweet elf" is used nine times. On paper, it doesn't look like a whole lot, but peeking out at you around the adverb-riddled ruins of this story, it becomes very tiring, very quickly. The nauseatingly sweet prose, the unbelievable, stilted dialogue ( "Hi, Handsome. I've been looking forward to this since we parted last night." ), and the instalove all conspired to make for one thoroughly sickening read. Aside from the sex, it reads like it was written by a grade schooler.

This was a very heartwarming story about two people that just have that chemistry that most of us hope to find with someone. I really enjoyed Ryan's love of the holiday season along with his cute antlers and smiled at Blake's feelings about "his elf" and his enjoying the holiday more because of it.
I hope to hear more from this great couple. They made me smile during this season.

This book was sooo dorky and required a huge amount of suspension of disbelief. Super sappy, sweet and angst free.
It just so happens that I was all angsted out from the other stuff I've been reading so I actually liked it. It was just the kind of cute, light hearted thing I needed right now. If I had read it at a different time I may have gagged.

I guess this was cute, though sometimes too sappy for my taste. I had a problem with the dialogues, some of the things they said to each other after not even knowing each other for a day was way over the top.

Wow this was such a cute and sweet story. I truly loved Ryan and Blake...I wanted it to be longer!!
