David is an unconfident, boring, professor who longs for more excitement in his unfulfilling life. One day a mysterious e-mail requesting his compliance in a situation he has no knowledge of appears on his computer. Thinking of it as a joke, David deletes it. But what was originally perceived as a prank quickly divulges itself into an unbelievable and horrific extraterrestrial adventure. In which David is forced to question some of the more unruly and daunting truths about human nature, and himself.
