More than anything, I'm a whole earth lover, but that doesn't mean I like everything. I do give people the benefit of the doubt, and I'm happy with that.

I've written 19 contemporary romance novels and been a participant in 4 romance anthologies for Harlequin, Kensington, and BET and. I've had a really good time writing romances and have a mainstream romance, Solomon and Sheba, biblically-based and this century to be released in 2012., but I've indie published a multicultural thriller, "Dying On The Edge," on sale now on Amazon and all online bookstores. I will also be doing a triology of biblically-oriented mainstream romances that I will also indie-publish. Edge will be a series. I love this, and I look forward to having you read and let me have your comments, yea or nay. They're all part of the writing game.

My mind really began to open when I began to indie-publish. I was lucky enough to find good help after many many stumbles and disappointments.

Please visit my interactive website. You'll find all my books and reviews on there and some good info about me. http://www.francinecraft.com.

I'm looking foward to hearing from you. My website is interactive.

Best,

Francine

Didn't Make Me Feel Anything

This is the first novel I've read by Francine Craft and it was a little disappointing. Apparently, "The Way You Make Me Feel" is the final book in a series about the Steele family, however, after reading this I'm not sure I want to back-track and read the rest.~~~~~~~~Stevie and Damien instantly become "roommates" and all too "quickly and sweetly" they agree to make life altering decisions, which were a little unbelievable, even for a romance novel. Ms. Craft, does a good job visualizing the concert and nightclub performances in a very realistic way, but the romance and mystery were sorely lacking in the same realism. The dialogue seemed for lack of a better word "corny" and forced, which muddled the storyline and made the characters uninteresting. Surprisingly, the romantic leads are not mutually attracted to each other. Damien must continually strive to focus beyond the physical appearance of Stevie, which makes the few sex scenes luke warm and uninspiring. The significant details of the mystery are held back from the reader making the conclusion lacking and unsatisfying.~~~~~~~This is a quick read for anyone who has some free time and who doesn't have anything better to read.

This feel-good read for young adults illustrates how people who seem very different might not be so. After their ongoing feud ends up in them starting a fire at the prom, Clara and Rose are forced to work together, and get along, on Clara's father's food truck for the summer. And, of course, there is some romance involved.

When I rule the world, I will ban certain people from writing, on pain of a fine. Craft will be the first one.

Stevie Simms has amnesia, and she's stumbled onto Damien Steels property. Damien recognises her and allows her to stay with him. Little by little Stevie memories return, but there's a problem - an assassin is out to silence her, and it's up to Damien to keep Stevie alive so that they can build a future together.

I'm sorry to say, but this book is badly written. For such a good songwriter, Stevie's lyrics are inane, and make Obama girl's "I've got a Crush on Obama" entertaining and deep by comparison.

There's just so much wrong with this book, that I'm reduced to using internet slang. Phrases like, "All aboard the failboat" and "epic fail" take on new meaning here.

First of all, the book is supposed to be suspenseful - there's none of that. Then the police procedure came across as inept, Stevie's ex husband is a caricature, and can't be taken seriously as any sort of red herring that the author puts in the way, and no matter how hard the writer tries to describe the chords, notes of music, and the 'voice' of guitars, you get the feeling that she Wiki'd some stuff and threw it in the book.

Probably I'm hating on the wrong person and should be looking to the editor (f that's the case, the editor sucks, too). But this is the FOURTH book I've read by this writer and each subsequent effort gets worse.

I'm done. I'm calling out this sort of lazy romance writing, and putting this writer on ignore.
