Things heat up in this second installment of the series. I enjoyed the mystery and danger that kept me on my toes throughout. I can’t wait to see where things goes from here.

Elora and Brennen are fleeing to Toronto after her house has burnt to the ground. She is at odds with herself. She is without her guides and her gift. Brennen is a god send to her and helping her hide from the terror that is haunting her. Together they must figure out who is haunting them both and will the passion they share be able to keep them safe enough to figure out who is behind the evil following them.
Elora and Brennen are back fighting an unknown evil haunting them. Elora is well she isn't working at full speed without her powers, she feels lost and not in control. She is stronger than she knows and when push comes to shove, she will do anything to save those she loves. Brennen is there to protect her from the start. He is stronger than they both realize, and he is her rock when things start to fall apart. They have such a strong chemistry, and they can't deny what is between them.
This book starts right where book one left off. The two of them heading to Toronto to hide from the crazy person trying to kill them. The author puts her main characters through a lot and we get to see how they will react and get out of the spot. There is so much going on in this story. We have a mystery. intrigue and romance all in the backdrop of Toronto. Overall, I enjoyed this book, but I did feel like the ending kind of left me wanting more, felt like there were some holes that need to be filled hopefully in book three. Overall, this is a fun fast read that will have you on the edge of your seat most of the time. Check it out you won't be disappointed.

This is the second part of the series that starts right where part one left off. This story is full of premonitions, awful nightmares, and someone trying to kill or harm Brennen or Elora. The danger is intense and neverending in this suspenseful love story. As our main characters are on the run after Elora's house was set on fire without her guides and power she has to rely on Brennen. She has been alone for many years and really has a hard time asking for help. Elora is desolate without her guides and feels like she is putting everyone she loves in danger. Chemistry builds and Brennan and Elora both find some secrets revealed and many more to find. Brennen is a big teddy bear and I really like his character. Once again I was left with questions. This book was hard to put down.

Things definitely ramp up in this sequel and bodies are dropping. This book had me even more intrigued than the first one and answers lead to more questions that keep the reader drawn in. We learn more about Elora's family and her childhood trauma as she works to figure out what happened to her gifts. PSA: there's a bit of a cliff hanger and the story is not over. I recommend reading the books in order as this one picks up right where book 1 ends and doesn't review anything from book 1. There's no explicit adult content but there is romance :).

Elora's story continues in the second installment of this intriguing, fast paced series. The reader is transported to a magical world full of suspense and danger. I literally had goose bumps during the scene at Wren's Apothecary. The suspense, mystery and romance kept me turning the pages. I was disappointed when it was over since we are left hanging . If you love magical, suspenseful tales this series is for you. I know I am eagerly awaiting book 3.

Was excited when I found out this book had been released and it didn't disappoint! It picks up with Elora and Brennen going to Toronto and it has you on your toes the whole book. There's suspense, interesting moments and a romance that is moving forward. The only part I wasn't totally happy with was the ending it felt like parts were missing but I'm hopeful the next book will fill the gaps. I can't wait for more!

this was a strong sequel in the Forbidden Script series, it does a great job in telling the story and was what I was hoping for in this series. The characters did a great job in being real people and I enjoyed what was going on. It left me wanting more in this universe.

Ohhhh, romance is going up a notch in the heat department! I love how awesome Brennan is and how the couple has grown from book one to this one. This book is fast paced, has some fun, romance, plenty of intrigue because and hiding from the bad guy. Looking forward to other books in the series

I like this one better than the first one. The details wrapped me in and kept me reading! I loved some of the enticing spooky scenes that she was able to paint a picture of gave me vibes of knowing what she was going through. I definitely didn't expect the end, but overall well done!
