To fundamentalist Christians the book is a poorly written rag full of blasphemy.

why is this book so expensive?! $290?! Anyone willing to lend it to me?

Lots of typos but a great message. I would suggest this book to anyone who went to church as a child but had questions that none of the adults wanted to answer. This book can help one develop what M. Scott Peck refers to in The Road Less Traveled as a "more mature" belief in and understanding of God.
