I was hoping for something a little more mindful than the literal last sentence of this book: “There was nothing to worry about!” Sorry, not helpful. If you are an adult who worries or has anxiety and wants to introduce healthy mindfulness skills to your kid, this is not the book for you.

This is great for ages 3 or less. There’s very few pages and words, but it makes a decent impact in getting its point across - literally. It’s about a pufferfish who puffs up when worried. I wish it was more in depth. Probably wouldn’t recommend to buy.

My 2 year old has been in a phase of separation anxiety, which is out of the norm for her. This book does a great job of not downplaying worry in an age appropriate way. This was perfect for her age.

Nothing real profound but I’m pretty sure preschoolers would connect with the repetition in this picture book.
Over all cute pictures. Short and sweet!

Every morning, I ask my two-year-old, "Did you have a nice night? Did you dream about riding on a seahorse?"
